  1. hey man, you can usually just take the whole parking brake cable off and get a whole new clutch lever and clutch perch...pretty cheap...just leave the thing that the e-brake plugs into on the bike (it's back on the rear brake assembly)...it's a sealed unit so you cant exactly take it off and leave it off...i just took the whole brake line out and bought a new clutch lever/perch. as far as the TORS...ya gotta leave it on unless you buy a TORS Eliminator kit (sells for about $50 on ebay)..they are just computers so like if your throttle sticks and it's revving like crazy, it'll just make it bog instead of blow up...someone in here can probably correct me about this but at least it gives you the basic idea... hope this helps SOME Mike
  2. except when your bike is in like a ZILLION pieces waiting for a make over
  3. i just dropped my remaining 30 IQ points for reading all that bullshit...may god have mercy on your soul ninjamaster
  4. kinda late to be asking if they are good tires dont ya think?...they're not very good for forward thrust like haulers or anything but for turning they are really good...
  5. hell at winchester bay we had a couple of CRX's camping with us...we decided to go drag race them at about midnite one night, didnt have a problem once we aired down...only real problem i faced was because i was in one w/ 17's and there isnt much to air down before you're hittin the rims on all the bumps!... go have fun at glamis ya lucky bastards lol Mike
  6. STIX!!!!!! that and static x (watchin them in portland on tuesday!!! WOO), disturbed, godsmack, adema, old school linkin park (they're turning retarded now), and metallica, TRUST COMPANY (saw them play w/ adema) TV616 ( also w/ adema ), soil, another small band -- point defiance ( yet again, played w/ adema ), charlie daniels, waylen(sp?) jennings...the list goes on my friends DEFINATELY not Michael Jackson or Yanni (the *****gy piano player) Mike
  7. just wondering 400grl...did you dye your hair or anything?...i mean in the pic w/ that chick jumpin -- she's got dark brown hair...in the pic w/ your kid (cute kid by the way) you have light brown...just wonderin if you dyed it *cough cough* m.i.l.f. -- hahahaha sorry had to throw that in
  8. man, it's one thing to come to the US and ride on the dunes...but its a complete different thing to ride with Lefty! haha...he'll change the way you look at us yankees! i agree w/ it being hella hot...start training by wearing your riding gear in a sauna so you can be somewhat used to the heat... glad to hear you're gonna come ride Mike
  9. "Eenbb"...."BenBB"...coincidence?...i think not... i dunno if someone's already said that but hell if not you could probably throw the names in there if you're tryin for legal actions just an observation Mike
  10. TOOOOOOO MANY LONG POSTS hahahahahahaha shorten it up for us lazy readers! Mike
  11. welp, im pretty sure a couple of people can back me up on this but i have, by far, gotten one of the best deals for fullbores... i got the race face and rears for......wait for it.....wait for it.......free..... dunefest sponsorship sorry i'll stop braggin, im still pumped about it lol Mike
  12. Glad to see there's the BHQ screen on sneeky's computer instead of some off the wall porn joint glad to see SOME women will admit to love riding...where i come from, DuneFest is a sausage fest...everyone is chasin around the fullbore girls lol peace Mike
  13. just wonderin people...but like...could these stickers be compatible with a FRONT window too?...that would be tubeular Mike
  14. yeah im just tryin to think of a way to prep it before i send it to the powdercoaters...up here in oregon it costs an arm and a leg to get things coated, $200 for a frame to be exact...i might see if i can get my a arms and swingarm chromed and then just powdercoat my frame...we have a friend that plates things for a living so maybe i can get a good break... anyways thanks for the feedback, Mike
  15. hey people, im in the process of slowly taking my bike apart, any comments on using paint stripper and sand paper on my frame so i dont have to sandblast....the coaters say silica sand is a bad idea to prep for coating because it'll counteract the coats....so i just figured i'd use some paint stripper and some lighter grit sand paper and just take the paint off in clumps....any words of wisdom from the veterans? any positive input would be awesome thanks beforehand Mike
  16. personally i'd just let them do the work...you cant use silica sand if you sandblast it yourself because it has a bad reaction to the powdercoat...even if you do prep it they'll have to clean the surface anyways and then they'll charge you for it....less work for ou and the same price.... hope this helps Mike
  17. i have a pair off of my '02....gimme an offer Mike
  18. i clicked but it just went to a "done" screen....hope that's what it was supposed to do and you got your cash flow! thanks for asking by the way Mike
  19. if you're going for price....i'd mill your head about 30 thou.... if you're going for performance, spend about $200 or so and buy a NOSS head w/ variable domes...i say NOSS because if im not wrong BHQ members get discounts lol later Mike
  20. how are ya'll gonna check the speed? that's really my only concern, i dunno if that can do 100 but maybe... peace Mike
  21. yeah i've known people that've put some car fog lights on their bike (my dad for one, but he has a batterie so maybe that could help)..nothing is wrong so far..things are bright...i would think that if something is wired properly, it shouldnt matter... i could stand corrected but couldnt you also do this if you ran an independent battery?...hell put a small one right where your tool kit is...they can only be like $13 at NAPA or something, wire it to your batterie, boom..new headlights... Mike
  22. get some mothers polish and put in some elbow grease....granted it looks plain but everyone loves the look of shiney things on bikes! Mike
  23. hey man, best bet....buy a Clymers manual....even for the most experienced people it's always good to have a clymers manual around...you can buy them for roughly $25...you can order them from your local bike shop...it basically takes your banshee...and breaks it down to every nut and bolt...and also tells you how to put it back together correctly lol... as far as your questions..."WOT" means "Wide Open Throttle"...ya know...where most people ride their banshees...completely balls to the wall open... "port"...2 strokes have ports like 4 strokes have valves...it's just where the fuel goes into the cylinder and comes out the exhaust...nothing really. "reeds" ... these are the things inside the intake (where your carb connects to the jug/cylinder)...they are on cages and kinda filter/regulate the fuel going into the intake port and into the actual cylinder.... the clymers manual will show you how to take apart your carb but in order to find out what jets you are running you have to take off the Bowl of your carb...thats the very bottom of it...it has like 4 small screws...just be sure not to drop anything like that gold keeper (i speak from experience)...it's a bitch to find lol... hope this somewhat helps....im sure there are other people out there that'll give you more definate answers... have fun and ride safe Mike
