  1. Forgotto add have yah synced the carbs since yah took them apart??? what about the air screw?? is it all the way seated or out a ways???
  2. GO by what the oil recommends. Hell i mix at 80:1
  3. Go With REAL! PWK's. Not the cheap one. As for size I think every one would agree a set of 28pwk would work just about the best do to port and stroke size. cheap = bad!
  4. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm. I would say needle. But anyway. I run same mod's just different porting and I got a 48pilot(going to try a 45) needle in middle and 175 main's. Only got a slight rich condistion right off idle. DIfferent boat's for different floats!
  5. My fattie blue and then turn a goldish color as well. it's normal
  6. check reeds to see if there good or bad. would also check out the coil to make sure it's up to par. I thought my was good. check and replaced mine and my jetting was way off and woke up the other jug. and both ran the same and non smoke more then the other...
  7. All I got to say REDLINE LIGHTWEIGHT SHOCKPROOF gear oil. After a year of riding The oil is blue as the day i put it in there. and no metal sheavings at in the oil at all. and way better clutch feel then 10w-30 or any of the other stuff i've used. Thats what louie swan say to use to and not to change it for a year... also remeber that 10w-30 oils got anti-friction chemicals in it. Which will increase trany life. but decrease the life of your clutch. Just a side note.
  8. don't forget to sync carb's that will do it 2!
  9. the banshee flywheel puller worked great. just cut a little off the top about 1/4 a inch. basicly the same thing. cost 7 .95 and maybe a dollor for the cutting wheel for my dremel. It's now a mult-use tool!
  10. www.pro-flo.com is the cheapest place out there to buy carbs. they won't be jetted right. but thats easy to fix.
  11. well it depends was he talking flat slides or round?? TM-34 for 269.99 or vm-34 round slides 179.9. the rest sound good in price. and for carb's does that include filters???
  12. HOW can people stand to ride a stock banshee? Me never owning a stocker. got to ride one to day and I thought it was junk!!. It felt like a turd... does anyone else have think this? STOCK BASHING!!!!..
  13. wow real 3.5 hour's??? whats your secret???? I only get a 2hours tops of rididng...
  14. might want to check jetting, I replaced my coil. and wire/caps and went up 2 mains. wasn't getting much spark from stocker.
  15. Why is that when people post compares between all the reeds/cages there aren't doing air flow rates at rpms and out of bike ? and air/fuel ratio's to support these idea's??? WOrd of mouth is good. but Im a very technial person. Im pretty sure different reeds/cages respond differently under different condistions. as I've seen and this is from g3, v-force 2's push about they push 53cfm and boyseen rad valve push 64 cfm. depending on size of motor v-force's will give better velocity of air. creating better bottom end and throttle responce. boyseen on the same motor will prodice less power because lack of velocity but on something that needs/wants massive air boyseen will prodoce more power because it can pass the air it wants. it's another thing that can't real be generalized sorry. Im just babling now. sorr. I know theres other things that affect reed/cage affectiveness the just airflow but was just point something out. I WANT FACT's heheh O well. No one can answers the questions i got anyway or the money to show the facts. I can go on and on about this but probly bore people so im done unless someone wants me to keep go. ps sorry for the bad grammer/spell.
  16. 48Ish pilot and a 170ish manin? maybe probly be rich but a good starting point i would say
  17. Make sure it's a quality gauge and has the same length threads else it will give a false reading
  18. IT's A TOY!!!!!!!!! a 2 stroke. lets just get along!!!. all that matters is where all having fun
  19. will TO!!!> Redline lightweight shockproff gear oil is the only way to go.. and it's made for wet clutchs. It's tacky and woun't come off moving parts in the tranny only way to go
  20. I can answer the question on the reed spacer's yes the clutch arm does hit the carb... try adding more main. try like a 165. for giggles to see what happens.
  21. Nah I love my banshee tell yah the truth. Just the wife of someone i ride with rides a blaster and it's probly going to get a 5mill with a 240 in it. so i get to hear about it. A blaster will never beable to get as much horse as what yah can pull out of a banshee it's a fact. it's easy to make blasters better to ride. Just put either a banshe knuckles up there or 450's(Lighter and wider) use the 450 shcok while your at it. as for the rear fab up a mount for the banshee calipur. . I just Wanted to bring it up as a option
  22. I agree with the twister crank for the best. it's allot of buck of the bang
  23. just go off the water pump. just need to make a second seal for it. and a pully. would work.
  24. Contact Louie swan or vale at twistercranfshaft.com or his phone. He'll tell yah all about it. I've seen there 3mill with and the put a big bore kit on it. and ported right. It will eat a non-stroked banshee alive. Yah don't got to beleave me or not. just what i've seen and heard. yah also got to remeber a blaster is around 250pounds(can make it less) almost half the weight. It needs alot less power to go as fast as a banshee
  25. Bah Put a 5mil stroker and a vito's 240 kit on it. have them port the 240kit to the 5mill you'll be pushing a good 55horse. It'll keep up with yah if not be faster. only cost yah around a 1200$ but thats a ruff guess.
