i saw a raptor for sale in the paper which has fuel injection, garrett custom made ball race turbo (capable of flowing 190hp), twin intercoolers, 2 1/2 inch dump pipe with custom made spark arrester, motec, 100hp yes 100hp nos kit and a custom made twin row chain and sprockets. this guy wants 8000 for it and he will trade the banshee fro 5000 thats 3000 change over. (australian dollars, approx 5700 to buy or 2100 to trade) he showed me dyno sheets with 103 hp at the wheels on 19 psi boost without nos. engine was built to handle 40 psi and 100hp nos squirt. I took the thing for a ride and was not game to give it all, and he only had it pumping 9 psi at the time, FUCKING SCARY. Wouldnt it make a great christmas pressie for myself.

i went to the local yamaha shop to trade my 96 yz250 on a new yzf250 and it was a slow bucket of snot compared, even though they are pretty quick. with dissapointment in my head i was leaving when i spotted an old red and yellow banshee in the corner covered in mud. i took it for a spin and frightened the living shit out of myself. 2 weeks later i bought a 2000 model which they had just traded on a raptor and became a proud banshee rider....... for 1 day ..... then i bacame a proud hospital bed owner. thinking i was king shit , being a banshee rider, i went a little too quick into a bend at 11:00 am the first day i had it. the rest is history, artificial knee, titanium femur and 9 weeks off work. 10 weeks after i was again a proud banshee rider, however more cautious, and have never looked back thats my story. wow what an exciting week since i have been away i have worked 83 hours eaten free food and stayed in free accommodation. earnt $1900 and payed $600 tax. how dissapointing. since leaving there have been 3 more pages added to this post, i have been hooked up to marry dirtgirl, sorry Katie, and i had a collection of 82 emails to sift through. oh well guys ,, about the pics of my riding spots, they were lost when my computer crapped in a heap. but i will get some soon and send em off just be patient. time to sleep i am pooped.

i will let you in on a little secret, all i did was remove the springs from the outside of the standard front shocks (sounds dodgy i know but it worked quite well) lowered to a good height for dragging and still allows bike to crawl across rough terrain without tripoding

my girlfriend of 3 years just dumped me because "you spend more time on that quad than you do with me and i cant handle it anymore" i tried everything but she was set on calling it off it has been hard but we have decided it is probably best we never shared many interests and always found that we would have to make an effort to have fun together, this is probably not the best in a relationship. oh well i am all done being sad and just want to try and get on with life. it is so hard when all you have lived for for so long envolved someone who is no longer going to be part of it. all the efforts to make a better life for us have become meaningless. what a sook. but i am ok i will get over it one day and find another dream to chase for now its gonna be all out effort and money on the banshee, she still loves me!!

ok well first things first i would like to know everything which is appropriate and everything which isnt then i would like to know everything else. ha ha ha seriously though tell all and i am sure we will read on. or tell nothing it is up to you!

hey bignasty fine avatar by the way with whats listed in your sig you would not only kick my arse you would probably do half of the roadies at the track i went to. you would have to be looking at 12 or 13 with those mods. which reminds me last night i saw the coolest thing in the world. i didnt get any pics because i didnt have my cam with me. this guy has a little monkey bike thing, about 2 feet long and 6 inch wheels front and back, the whole thing including the 2foot long wheelie bar and the yz125 engine weighed 43kg he looked like a monster riding a scooter. first pass wheelstand till 660foot 12.11 @ 112mph sec pass wheelstand whole track 11.73 @ 123mph i will take my camera next time he is a regular apparently so he will be there
