porting.... is the process of changing the shape / size etc.of the ports feeding air/fuel mix into, and exhaust gasses out of, the cylinder/s. different shapes sizes and positions (up and down) mated with different engine modifications produce your specific power statistics. porting is an art/skill which is attempted by many and mastered by few. (i am NOT one of them, i have never even tried it, i may sound like i know what i am talking about but i am realy just a dumb aussie) on top of what The New Guy said reeds are a valve which allows air/fuel mix to enter the crankcase while it is in vacuum (pistons on their way up) and blocks the mix from blowing back into the carbs while in compression(pistons on their way down).

well only 2 months ago i was where you are now and i assure you will be a bit like me. i only come onto this site in the afternoon (which must be about 2 am in the usa) so there are only like 2 or 3 ppl here but it is good because i can go through and read all the days posts uninterrupted and without having to go back and view new posts half way. i often find myself giggling my little balls off for half an hour straight coz some of these guys are funny fuckers. Some.... i knew little about the banshee when i started and in 2 months i have gone from this... to this.... SORRY ABOUT THE HUGE PICS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and everything i have done i learned to do on here. Even in times of stupidity whan i asked questions which when i look back were just pathetic i got laughed at but also answered. Some of these guys are great banks of knowledge.

well i know banshees dont wheelie as far or as long but you look stylish and cool whan you do even a crappy wheeliie on a shee whereas you can do a top wheelie on another bike and you styill look like you cant afford a banshee. banshee got my vote on principal.

i would desperately love too but i dont know any specs or anything if i made them look right they might well only rev to 7 or 8 and cut power band by halves i dont know enough about 2 strokes. hey holyman do you have the facilities to post those pics i sent you because i dont also with a 2133bpm commection it took nearly 3/4 hour to email them to you and i would hate to have to go through that again.
