  1. I need some advise on the shift star topic. I have a 2002 and having serious problems with finding neutral and missing gears. I have seen new stars at Magic Racing but dont know what to do. Your advice is very much appreciated.......
  2. I freakin love these games lately!!!!!!!!! I cant stop laughing as I play!!!!!!! 398 for me...
  3. I have holeshots now and im very happy with them....Good Luck......
  4. I just added some American Racing arms to my shee, nice and affordable. They are not the best on the market but for the price you cant go wrong.....($400.00) Parts Direct is where I got them. The only problem with them is there are no grease zerks on them...... Right now im happy with them!!!!! Good Luck
  5. I just slapped the dirtdigger in about 5 minutes ago. Directions said 10 min to soak, never did see the different sides of the plates so I hope all is well in there. Hey Banchetta what might happen if the edges were not lined up like you said???
  6. Ive got about the same setup as you and run a 300 main with stock pilot and needles on the 4th clip. I used the supplied needles that came with the T-5 set. I might up the mains to a 330 and the pilot to 27.5 but right now it runs great...... Good Luck!!!
  7. Thanks guys, dirtdigger on order as we speak. Thanks for the replies!!!!!!
  8. Hello all, My 02 Shee has had some clutch slippage lately and I have a couple questions. First, when riding under hard throttle in the upper gears there is slippage only for a second or two then it seems to grab. I assume I need to rebuild the clutch but there are so many kinds to choose from. Also, do I need just the plates or the entire clutch kit, prices range from 29.99 to 149.99. Could someone point me in the right direction???????? Thanks.........
  9. Ive seen them on ebay... Good luck.....
  10. For any one who wants to avoid this same problem listen up. The problem stemmed from neglecting to install the flat washer for one of the main jets. The entire main jet assembly rattled around in the carb and caused all hell with the jetting. I spent all day f-ing with it and just rode the bastard balls out. Thanks for all the input, my stupidity ruled this time...........Thanks again..........
  11. Thanks so far guys and yes the snorkel is gone. I just changed back to the stock pilot and put the needle clip to the 4th from the blunt end with the same results. I cant imagine the 300 main is the problem, right?????????? I just might wrap a tree with it soon, what am I missing???
  12. Thanks fixitrod, I understand the needle but should I change the pilots back to stock or keep the 27.5. I know it a trial and error but jeeeze
  13. Ok guys I need a little advise. I have a 2002 shee with T-5's, proflow with foam with the box lid on with air vents. I changed the jetting to 290 mains and the provided needle on the middle clip. I ended up changing the mains to 300 and the pilots to 27.5 to be on the safe side. I didnt want to be anywhere lean. Now, as before it runs like crap and cant even get to 6th to check the plugs. The main area of concern is low end and midrange sputtering and bad hesitation. Any idea where I went wrong?? Compression is good, plugs look fine but will replace when I work on it again. Temp here is around 30's and alt is sealevel or so. Your advise is greatly appreciated, thanks.
  14. Just received bearings for rear axle housing and would love to know the tricks to get them in. I know to just slam them in there will destroy them so whats up? You guys are the experts so let me in on the deal. Thanks Brian
  15. Thanks for the tips, I guess I will be tearing the rear end down soon. One more question, where do you find the proper wrench for the axle nuts, online would be nice....... Thanks again.........
  16. I have a 2002 Shee with a loose axle. When the weight is off the rear end you can move the axle back and forth and up and down, maybe 1/16 to 1/8 inch or so. To me it feels like some slop with the bearings or I just cant get the axle nuts tight enough. Any advise would be nice before I tear into the beast for a overhaul.........Thanks Brian
  17. I had the same type problem and it was the carb slides in the wrong carbs. What a difference when in the proprer way.........
  18. Greetings All, Im looking for a good quality six pack rack to hold a jug of gas and possibly some tools. I looked at Armadillo and PRM. Are there others you recommend????? Mostly doing trails and fields for riding but want one nice and strong. Looking forward to the input. Thank You

  21. Hello All, I have a stock 2002 with no mods as of yet. My question is about the air filter and air box. I mainly ride trails and fields with some mud and water and would like to know if I should keep the stock air box or remove it. I was looking at the K+N twin filter setup with outerwares. I will probly have to rejet for the K+Ns correct??? Any filter input would help. Thanks......
  22. I just did the Vitos kit and it was a breeze....No problemo...
  23. POLY-PROS........Their slider goes on w/o taking the swingarm off. Slick as shit......
  24. Just get the entire kit from polypros.com. You get all the rollers and the chain slider w/o having to remove the swingarm. Did I say no swingarm removal!!!! One kit does it all nice and easy. Its worth the money.
  25. I just did the rebuild kit the other day and 1 day later it rattles. Money well spent????? I think its made to rattle........
