Hello all, i need your help once again. I just did a top end and having a hell of a time with the thing running. I know there are a lot of jetting questions out there but I need the help before I torch the thing. My shee is a 2002 bone stock, snorkle removed, thats it. What would be the right combo for jetting? Right now it bogs bad from idle up, when breaking in it did back-fire 2 times and ran even worse after. It seemed to run worse the hotter it got. Plugs look good, the book said to run 16-1 for fuel for break in, could that make a difference. I will be checking for air leaks tomorrow with the carb cleaner trick. Sorry for the long story, no easy way to explain the signs/symptoms. Thanks Brian........

Thanks for the info. I was looking at reeds already but dont think im ready to go into the bottom for the crank. Anyone know any good machine shops in Connecticut to bore my cylinders???

I have a 2002 Shee and need to replace my pistons and bore out my cylinders due to bad right piston. While im in there and doing a top end job, are there any other mods or maintance to do to keep my shee runnin strong???? Thanks.....

Yes, the noise did get louder with it revved up initially. Now the noise seems to be comming from the cylinders area. I did do a compression test and had 120 on the left and 115 on the right with the engine run for only a minute or two. I dont want to run it long and further damage it. Could a damaged cylinder or rod lock up the wheels and then be able to limp home????? Im not sure I want to tear this apart and get in over my head!!!

Thanks for the help so far. Are there any tips or tricks to narrow down where the malfunction might be without gutting the thing????? I just drained the oil with no shavings or large pieces in it, just fine particles floating around.

I have a 2002 Shee with unknown amount of miles on it and stock setup. Im the second owner and have had some noise around the tranny for some time since I got it. Today, while in 4th gear or so, the motor locked up and stalled completely. I got it started again with major, loud noise comming from the tranny area. I limped it home with it running ok but with the noise still loud. It seems to be shifting the same as before without problems but the motor seems sluggish and loud. I did not drain the oil yet, I had to go to work and will drain tomorrow and look for shavings. Any help would be appreciated!!!!!
