how often do you get into 6th gear? When I was running stock gearing, (14/41 i think) I never saw 6th gear, just not enough room where I ride unless at the dunes or on the road.. If your not hitting 6th gear very much, I wouldn't worry about the 1st gear being too low, just put in 2nd..

are you looking for more top end speed? I run a 12 on front/42 out back it really dropped my top speed, I problly only get to around 60mph if that.., but it's awesome in the tight woods, as far as drag racing if it's a dirt track I launch in 3rd gear leaving me only 3 gear changes I it just barely starts to ping out in 6th gear in 300ft. smaller up front= less top speed bigger up front=more top speed smaller in back =more top speed bigger in back=less top speed

I think only need to change if you go with a big bore kit, not the standard bores of 20 40 60....

they don't list 05's I am wondering if the 05 is same bolt pattern as the older bikes...

it's all rider input... I got a honda ATC110 that could make it up any hill in low gear range it ain't fast but it would out climb a rookie on a 400ex or a banshee.... If you wanna get there fast and know what your doing step on the 'shee.. the EX would be better if your on the side of the hill with a winding trail though trees, but My banshee still like them as long as it ain't a slow trail...

does anyone know if polaris changed the bolt pattern on the 05 trailblazers, I can't find a wheel/tire combo listed for it anywhere... This thing ain't a bad alternative when I don't wanna get the banshee dirty please dont laugh, yes I know it's a Polaris....

School bus ran the last time I drove it Thanksgiving from Dallas to Lil Sahara in OK. It needs a tune up and a muffler on it right now, other than that everything else works I believe. The dart runs and drives even has current tags and inspection, the front end is worn out it won't keep tires on it... Body in fair shape needs minor repair and paint, the interior needs lots of work, it's got rusted holes in floor board.. Yeah derby junker!! If interested I'll post pics....

your lucky I gots the good ole clymer right here.. 20 lbs for cylinder and head bolts.... cylinder base uses a criss cross pattern per cylinder. . Here's a pic I did for ya for the head pattern.... ps don't laugh at my art skillz...

lower front of the cylinder? Make sure you tightend the bolts in the correct sequence and proper torque, if still leaking it prob. needs a new base gasket.. Not a good idea to use sealer it possiblly could get sucked into the motor where it's not needed...

went and looked at the cylinders, the left side has a fairly deep gash on the exhaust side near the top of the stroke, gonna need a bore job and new pistons as of now, not sure if the rod and/or the crank is good yet...damnit to hell ain't got the $$$ for a rebuild.... Looks like shee'll be down for awhile unless I win the lotto or rob a bank or blah blah blah.... Could someone please let me borrow your shee. I know of a few guys here that converted to 4 tokers that have abandon the shee (scredish, txblueshee) how about you let me keep her clean of the cob webs for ya!! that was what I checked for first all 3 are there....
