kinda silly question... What's your weight? I am stock stroke and port with a 30 over weisco piston and a cool head with 22cc domes.... The only bikes I am scared of are the all out drag bikes (only when dragging them).. They get me out of the hole usaully about 6 bike length and I can hold the gap... I personally thinking of NOS just for those days.. On the trails I don't want anymore speed, would have to be nutz to need anymore... Then again I weight in at 130# I usually have atleast 100# advantage on most of these beer drink fat bastards!! As far as the dunes.. I did GLAMIS this year, there wasn't a hill that the shee wasn't able to pull hard in all 6 gears in, and that was staring at the bottom of the hill.... not 50 yards out hitting 3rd gear then blasting up it...(that's for the pusses)...

I take it those aren't AQua-threads... That car has positraction right? Positraction sucks when it comes to water and other slick shit... get well and make sure the collar bone is set right, my wife wrecked my truck over 6yrs ago, broke the collarbone, the doctor was wanting it to "heal naturally" the f**kin thing sticks out about an inch .. He was wanting to go back after 9months of "healing" to rebreak it and set the bone again... Just a few weeks before surgery was when my son popped out of no where... (long story went over it once on here long ago..) So no surgery... My boy was born Labor day 1 year after she wrecked on Labor Day.. Some sort of sign... Anyhow get 2nd opions if your at any doubt. I myself would love to do some desert races, always thought it to be cool.. Here awhile back Scott had a good idea of having a HQ ride out at Baja. (where is Scott?) When it comes down to it, the really only reason, I live in Texas, I would love to load up and move to Beverly... Well maybe not that far west but somewhere around Colorado or northern New Mexico or Arizona.. Been thinking of MXing only just because I want to get my boy involved in the sport, he's gotta get competitve soon I don't want that boy's natural talent to goto waste (like his daddy's). He's got a love for riding a bigger love than any of us on here could ever have. My goal was to have him in some sort of comp. by 5, that didn't work.. I can't finacially (sp? Geez can't even spell that shit no wonder) get it done as of now. I started the AFRO site just for him hoping and praying that I could get some money coming from there, well I havn't made but maybe only $25 commision and that was from parts my brother ordered and parts I ordered for me and my friends. I get a descent amount of traffic there (matter of fact 5000 visitors as of today just since May) just no one is buying.. Cant' even think about sponsorship for him until he can be seen in action under a competive enviroment. The only way would be to sell off all of our rides, including the shee and getting him a Quad. Can't do that, not because of my selfishness to ride, it's just that I think he would lose interest if he was the only rider... God damn it, I am getting F'n tears writing this.. $$$$ is the bottom line for me.. Shit if I could get setup out yonder way, with a job house and descent schooling for the kids I be there in a heart beat.. When AFRO actually takes off and I can quit my job, buy a Bright yellow MotorCoach and just write the races off as advertizing or some shit.... screwit I got way off topic..

Justintoxicated did you do the stator conversion yourself, just wondering.. When I got my Ricky Stator he told me how to float the wire to convert... Maybe you could share the info with these guys... I would but it's your thread...

awhile back I had to replace my plug wires, didn't really know they had resistor in the stock wires at the time, I replaced them with some 8mm plug wires... I was in the back yard the other day, parked near the house revving the motor, well it was actually causing interfernce with the TV inside the house....

are all these wires hot? if so you could save alittle by running 1 wire to the front then just looping over to the next light then the next and so on... Just an idea, you'd only have one plug to worry about disconnecting to remove the rad. shroud...

Drop it down, I was running a 12 tooth with a 43 I would hit 6th way to quick in the open areas, but as far as tight trails and stuff the 12 was alright.. going back to 13.. As far as making sure the axle is straight, I eye ball it, check the adujuster screws lengths, then I spin the tires around with the rear off the ground if the axle ain't straight you'll hear it binding up... And kinda eye ball the chain how it rides on the sprockets it should be riding the center... I don't rely on the adjuster bolts alone anymore, on my swingarm where the bolts tighten up to the swinger it getting worn, I doubt both sides wore the same.. I use a combo of all 3...

sweet, do you have them hooked into the stator? How many LED you running total? Just asking cause I run about 4 or 5 LED's off of a 9.6v rc battery mounted under my seat.. I can actually use lights with the shee turn off.. They last about 3 day on just one charging... Just something to think about not trying to critsize your work... just a tip.. damn I just read the post above sorry.. I looked into the dc conversion myself when I was trying to figure out how to recharge a battery, ended up not doing the conversion... (one of these days I'll learn to read the whole thread before posting)
