  1. Muratic Acid Don't poeple use that to clean head stones. Would it hurt the plastic. It is a milder form of acid isn't it?
  2. OK on the MEK, I no it's bad shit.I wasn't planning to use it on plastic anyway that was why i stated Metal in that sentence. And thx for the Manual url. I check out the roostfest site Is it yours?
  3. Hey Klotz Castrol GTX is fine for your tranny. SO is any 4 cycle fourstroke motor oil. Just keep it clean. change it offen. I been using motor oil in my trannys for 30 years. 2 cycle oil is for Premixing or oil injection motors The reason is to oil the Piston rings and rod & crank bearings all the other stuff is lubed by the tranny oil.
  4. What Do you Guys think of These ASR A-Arm
  5. Hello And good you are back. Have you ported your shee yet? and what type of port are you planning?
  6. Thx Banshee370 There is a Suppler in the next town I'll go saturday a check it out. Kleenstrip I have heard of it but never seen it work, I know MEK is great on metal. But i think the epa got a tight rope on that stuff. Talsol That is new to me. Oh On a side note Banshee370 Is there a PDF for a Banshee Service manual?
  7. have you asked Kim At K&T Performance? I looked for inframe prices and I was shown a Url here by someone and it was the cheapest i seen so far.Maybe they can get Out of Frame one,Shoot them a email and see But you need to tell us what they said. CPI InFrame
  8. I run a 4 inch on my shee at the Dunes in Idaho.Your bike sound like you are going to make alot of power and if you are more into dune or dragging I get 8" ext swing. I sure with N20 you will need it. If you plan on trail more than dune i think 4".I like mine alot, It don't seam like i need to force it around the few trails i do use it on.
  9. Paint thinner not going to touch automobile paint. I was hoping someone had tried so type of stripper that won't soften the plastic. I was look for a brand. If I need allot of elbow grease I will sand it. But thx for the tip
  10. The paint on my plastic is just to thick what is the best way to remove it so i can repaint it? I hate to soften it with to strong a solvent. Any vets have some great tips? Thx OILsmoke
  11. 75 WT gear saver is Like water. No oil cushion will wear gears. Check out What Stuart Toomey Thinks about it. Check out his details on clutch page. I know there all Opinions, But Clean oil is the Best and at 1.65 a Quart I know I can keep it Clean. Motor Oil been working in all of My bikes since 1973. I never lost a Tranny or blown a clutch with it. Here is Toomeys Thought On it. Look at last paragraph .The Choice is yours. I will agree that gear saver does make a poor shifting tranny smoother.
  12. Better price
  13. I really like it. Drys fast, bends better than other type paints. The pigments are plastic based. I used black to repair my cracked to hell nose plastic and some engine water pump cover and the clutch cover and the flywheel covers and there looking ok, there worn but are holding up great. I plan on a repaint next year. So it was a test. I will used it agian.
  14. Personal I like Castrol GTX 10/40. I change it about after 20 gallons of fuel used . Nothing beats CLEAN OIL.
  15. I read that you lighten flywheels. If so do you rebalance them dynamically or statically? I was Curious about this becuase when shaved it remove the balance drilling from the fatory. If you do i may have some business for you.
  16. Talk about some Smokeing shizzel hehehe. that a good one Cotton eye.
  17. From your Post. I get the Skat Trak Edge From Rocky Mountain ATV. in 21x12x8 run about 2.5 to 3 pounds. Good sand tires are a major Plus. Fronts for play aren't as critical I run hualars and kenda Max fronts and Love them.
  18. On my son 2003 with a ricky stator plate he can adjust it with flywheel still on and a open end 10mm . there is room.

  20. They looks like a VM series round slides. but they may Pre date those. If i was to quess I would say they came off of an old snowmobile from the 70's. they work great on the top end but am thinking after reading your tunning guide Benbb that my pilot jets are wrong. it could be over ported and not the carbs but i need to test a few things out. It has no pulling power until you hit upper mid to top end. and I mean no power. I compair this to my sons 2003 with PC or CPI which pulls like a tractor compaired to my shee. My pipes are FMF gold series. 300 mains pilots 55 needle middle clip postion air screws 3.5 turns out K&N pods lightly ported TDR's reeds .20 thick. this is a dune machine strips and light as possible. does it sound like its to fat in the pilots? I am trying to help this area out and any tips are greatly appreciated.
  21. On my Shee it came with a round slide mic. was wondering what size they are & Model. Both are a right side choke, pull style type plunger, left carb choke is plugged. The only numbers i see on them are stamped in are as follows. T2 X10 58 01B How are the numbers coded? they measure about 33mm in the intake side of the bore. Pre VM model maybe? I need order a new choke.
  22. Thx Reas11 I'll go check them out after work.
  23. l am looking for some exhaust collars. In hi temp rubber where is a good place to buy?
  24. No your missing the Point. What make you think that Your dyno runs not Bullshit to Me. I don't Know the guy at plantsand and I don't know you. If your Point of view is Only My Dyno the truth and all others are Bullshit.Than you are not very subjective to Information. That my point.
  25. No it wasn't meant to make you cry. It was to enlighten others and you But you have seen it, It's was the inframe dyno run at plantsand. Personaly I am not new to 2 cycle motors. But i am very new to the banshee. Like others i have searched out info on them. I find the T6 to be the best looking Pipe on the Market,I would be Proud to Own a set. I just installed a set of CPI's inframe on my son's 2003 and It hauls ass.Great looking pipe too. But it looks like it will burn the left leg in short order if you ride the tank for very long. That scores a few negatives form a comfort point of view. I just bought a used set of t5 to test out this coming spring to compair with the Set of FMF gold series in Nickel (old School) Came on my 1994 i bought about 2 months ago.It runs all day long and Never Over heats. I hear the question, what is the Best Pipe. There isn't One, Just like the best gun, But there is a Best Choice. It's what makes you happest. Not Others. Enjoy the T6's I look forward to seeing your Dyno Just like all the other ones On the Net. Ps censor the crayon style Dyno's I think there fake.
