  1. There will be a step on the head. Where the water inlet bolts on most people do not mill this area, just the surface that the head gasket touches. At least that is how mine is done.
  2. I agree the company has bad customer service, they should have worked something out. Now the but. The purchaser should always check what they have recieved before they modify it to make sure it is exactly what they ordered 2mm = .078 4mm=.157 you don't even need a mic or caliper to see it was wrong. Most of the people answering the phones and pulling parts at these places do not have a clue what they are doing they are just using part numbers. All of us make mistakes. It is how you handle yourself after the mistake is what matters. Just my 2$
  3. As mentioned above. Good auto parts stores have oversize plugs that cut new threads as you put them in. Take the old one and they should be able to measure it and give you the correct size to install.
  4. Email with pic's was sent?
  5. I have one. It was done by Booneman from the HQ years ago. I'm thinking 50$ with the gasket.
  6. You can't mig a radiator !!!!!!!! Tig maybe but you better be dam good at it. The for sale section had them for like 14 dollars plus shipping.
  7. Pull the clutch cover sounds like the kicker gear or something with the clutch. The kicker gears comes off quite often if the bushing is worn.
  8. Just my 2 cents Looks lean. If you look at both pistons one is clean the other has carbon on it. If it was detonation would not both pistons have some damage (pitting). Looks like it went lean on one cylinder at WOT jetting or a sudden air leak. Bad crank seal or base gasket. I would do a leak down test if you just put pistons back in, to rule out the crank seal.
  9. Send it out to someone that knows what to do. You should Tig weld it not mig.
  10. With that compression you do not have to worry. I run 180psi on pump gas and have not had any problems. (I'm sure this going to start some shit) But it is true and yes I have good guage.
