If you are looking to make a cheap polishing wheel use an angle grinder. I shit you not. I used one and got excellent results. What you do is get and angle grinder and some metal straps similar to those used in toliet tanks that connect the lever to the bottom dealy thing. Anyway, bend the straps (3 or 4) over the grinder and make sure its secure. My 4.5 in ryobi special does just the trick and cost me $35. Buy some 6 inch polishing pads... Buy one sisal wheel and use brown tripoli with it after you have sanded it to with about 1000-1500 grain working your way from 400 or so making sure all your scratches are out from sanding it previously. Then after using the sisal wheel and tripoli use a loose cotton wheel with white compound to get that extra gleem! It'll take you a while but its worth the reward... all of this is available at any home depot!

Need a rear shock for a +6 swingarm... Stock that has a stronger spring and that has been revalved or a aftermarket...

how does the choke assembly not rattle loose then?

same ones that you pull??? Is it really that easy? Just the knobs right, not at the base? Do you need to screw them all the way in and then work out?

I bought some used Kehien's and have them in sync but I'm not sure how to set the idle. Anyone able to help me out?

Mine did the same exact thing right after rebuild. One side smoked alot more than the other. My builder said to just let it run a little bit and ride it some and it should even itself out. After about 1/2 hour of riding everything was fine. Just make sure that its not leaning out too much and/or if it pops alot you may have jetting problem.

It bumps your horsepower another 15hp. try it and see!

I got them from badchicken out of Eugene Oregon. He said he would replace them if one is defective but I am just too tired of these carbs they just dont seem to ever work correctly.

I switch to a twist awhile back and decided now that I want to go back to my thumb throttle. Can I use the same throttle cable??? I think its a motion pro?

I did the same thing. My motor was being built when I bought these so I didnt know until last weekend that there was a problem either. I dont have the wide open problem though. The cast was so rough on these things that I ended up polishing the slides and the insides of the carbs. Mine may not stick open because I polished them. I just emailed him after I saw that you were having a problem too. Hopefully he will do something about them. Let me know what happens if you hear anything and I will do the same.

I have the same exact problem. These things suck!!! I have tried and tried and even taken them to a couple of shops to see if they can adjust them correctly. I couldnt agree with you more!

when I strip a screw I usually break out my dremel and make a slice in it the cut off wheel that will fit a flathead screwdriver (large). Never failed me yet.

I just got back from my first ride with works tripple rates with no rezzies... I cant even tell how much better they are from stock. WORLD OF DIFFERENCE. I highly recommend them. I would start there and you can always add the rezzies if you need to.
