That figures I am winning a set of carbon reeds on ebay.Maybe I will be out bid.

I have my cages out and figured I might as well replace the reeds while they are out. I cant afford v-force so dont even go there. My questions are.. Is there any way to tell if the stock reeds are wore out? Mine look brand new. If I replace them what do you recommend? I heard that boyesen reeds are good. Which set of Boyesens should I get? Can I port my own cages with a dremel? Is there much benefit in doing so? Any info or advice is certainally wlecomed. Thanks in advance

Thanks for the warm wishes. I am back home now and doing well. The doctor said he had to wake me up because I was moving all around the bed. I was pissed because I was dreaming that I was riding the shee at Glamis! Talk about a killer buzz when I woke up I hope to be back to work in full swing in a month but I highly doubt it. I am having my knee operated on in the morning. I messed up my ACL ligament earlier this summer and am having it "fixed". You all will see alot more of me in the coming weeks-months because the Dr. said I could be out of work up to 4 months. I just hope i can get out to the barn in a few days and fool with the shee. I will go crazy if I am laid up for more than a day or so. I guess it will be a while until I can ride the shee. Dont worry... I drained all the gas, pulled the carbs and cages off so I can work on her some when I can get out there.Has anybody here or anybody you know had this procedure done? If so what should I expect? Its 2am here and I have to be there at 6:30. I guess I better get off here and "try" to get some sleep. I am nervous as hell..

I am so tired of trying to run down carb jets around here. Nobody stocks them and when I go to the local stealership they always sound like they are irritated with me for ordering them.(like they dont have time for such pitadly shit) I beilieve I am the only person on the eastern shore who actually works on a banshee.. I am running 290s now and I think it is a little fat. Anybody have a set of 260s 70s or 80s they can spare?I will gladly pay for them. I am just tired of the hastle of the stealership. Went Friday and paid the shee off with a check. The lein release should be in my hand within 2 weeks (wait for check to clear). My sis in law says she is going to bring me everything signed and legal like so I dont know shit..

I really want to buy the stars and stripes graphics kit from alba but I dont know if it will look right on my blue shee. What do you all think?

My wifes sister.. No insurance yet. I dont want to get tangled up in insurance fraud.. I would rather take my chances doing it how we are now (the semi legal way).LOL I plan on gettin g some insurance as soon as I have everything in my name.

Personally I myself arent worried about him. He likes to beat on women and kids so I dont think I will have any problems out of him. I am more worried about my sis in law though. I have been writing the checks to her and she has been paying in her name. I would be pissed too but I dont feel sorry for him. He is in jail for raping-molesting my 8 year old niece so I say FU(K that sorry bastard.. He dont need the shee nor deserve it. I dont feel bad at all for taking his beloved quad. He can get another quad but my niece will never be able to get back what he took from her.

Thanks for the replys. I really feel like taking the shee back to her and just wiping my hands clean of the whole deal but she cant afford to pay the payments on the shee (which is why I took it over to begin with plus she is raising 4 kids by herself) plus the finance company has a lien on her car along with the shee. So if the shee goes back her car goes along with it.I also have too much money into it already to just walk away. In all honesty I probably will have traded the shee in or sold it by the time he gets out of jail anyway.

As you all may know I was supposed to be paying my banshee off last Friday. Things have come up and I am going this Friday to pay it of. My question is... I took over the payments on the shee from my sister in law. The quad is in her husbands name and he has been in jail for about 2 years and is going to be in jail until 2007. She said she is going to have to forge his name on the title in order to sign it over to me. He has already threatened her with death if she gets rid of the banshee. This guy is a real nut case and she is divorcing him very soon. I wish I had known that it was in his name BEFORE I paid a years worth of payments. If she signs his name on the title and signs it over to me can I get in legal trouble? She said she is going to talk to her lawyer to see what the best course of action is. She did sign a paper from the loan company saying she would be liable for the payments beings he is in jail. Does this cut him (jailbird) out of the picture?I would hate to pay the thing off and not own it legally. HELP PLEASE!!!!!!

I hear ya brugal, If I do that I will still have my $200 a month banshee payment along with whatever the bikes payment will be. I cant afford that. I have 4 kids, mortgage and a brand new van ect. As good as that sounds I wouldnt last a year with those payments. We all have to eat ya know..

After getting my shee appraised at the stealership for the Marauder we went over to a friends house who just bought a brand new 400ex. He was talking shit about how he is gonna spank my shees ass. I just laughed at him as I was warming her up. I told him that after I am done with him he is gonna wish he had bought a shee. Anyway we got out on the field and he got me off the line the first 3 or 4 races. By the time I was hitting 3rd I was blowing by him. The last race I revved her up and leaned forward. Cut her loose. I busted his ass so bad that time that he didnt want to run again. I felt sorry for the guy because we went riding on some trails after that and he hit a metal pole that was laying down covered with grass and messed his shit up. Bent his lower a-arm up pretty good and his handle bars are toast. His bike isnt a week old yet.. Anyway just thought you all would like to hear about my sorry non riding ass beating a 400ex. Easy kill I know but fun nevertheless.

I have the street bike bug. I posted earlier about me thinking about a 250 ninja. Well to make a long story short I decided against the baby ninja. I now have my eye on a brand new Suzuki Marauder 800. Has big bucks worth of accessories, nicer seats,saddle bags,wind screen. The stealership has it marked down to $5,300. The bike lists for $6k bare and I guess all the shit on it is worth 7-$800.? It is a left over 03.They are gonna give me $2,500 for my shee in stock form and my payments are gonna be right around $70 a month. I dont know what to do. I am going tomorrow to pay my shee off ($4,000) and I hate to fork over 4k and loose 1500 right off the bat. I know I can put the good pieces off my shee on ebay and get a little but damn. I am not really worried about the money with trading my shee in. I am just having a hard time coming off my shee. My wife has no interest in riding quads and she likes the idea of me getting the bike so she can ride with me. Damn this is hard.... It sux being a working man...I wish I could keep my shee and buy the bike but I have a 23 foot boat as well and shit is getting expensive. I know this is a banshee forum and we all love shees but I am asking for unbiased opinions here. What the hell should I do? I love my shee but I only get to ride the shee maybe 2 or 3 times a month. With the bike I can ride all summer. Please people help me out... I am going nuts here.....
