I think you blew an intake gasket. My 4x4 silverado with the 5.7 did the same thing. My bros s10 with the 6 in it, did that also after 150,000 miles. Check for dripps. Shortly after that my water pump went too.

What's up with all of these losers comming on "BANSHEE hq" And trashing on banshee's? I don't see many banshee owners saying that 450's suck. WTF? Do you guys just have too much pride to admit a modified banshee might smoke you? And a few probrably did but you just wont admit it. I probrably will buy one,but my banshee won't be going anywhere. I haven't been on the atv boards in a while. I do check this one at work on lunch sometimes though. But why are the bt guys bagging on meat? He answered questions over there, and never talked any shit from what I remember??? Some people take these boards waaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy to seriously (like they belong to a cult). I like this one for shee info. I don't have anything against bt(but there are a few members that I have a real disliking for), but If I don't like a particular board I just don't go there.

People must be assholes there, or you guys are just paraniod and uptight??? I don't get it, maybe it's just a michigan and ontario thing then. Because all of the snowmobilers I talk to have quads and bikes also. Alot of em have banshee's even, and like to ride em year around. I wouldn't care at all if quads were out on the trails as long as they obeyed the same rules as the snowmobiles. The snow was too deep this year to ride the wheelers much, but I still did locally. lmao! Banshee's smoke 250r's also Stock for stock, and dollar per dollar built up the she IS FASTER. A shee has more power potential then any other atv EVER produced. Just wait for the my cousin from the city's quadzilla stories and all the other b.s. that will probrably come after this reply. I am also aware of the quads built in europe that have ktm 540 and 550 2 stroke motors in them, they still don't make as much hp as a 550cc banshee.

One snowmobiler, or a particular group doesn't mean we are all assholes. I ride bikes, quads, trikes, snowmobiles, and wave runners. If you ever tried one out you would probrably love it. Who know's, you might want to deck yourself out in that "fairy" gear to match your slead. One bad apple doesn't mean the whole bunch is bad. Most people that flame snowmobiles or whatever,have never ridden one most of the time. Just wait and see,one of us snowmobilers that also ride quads will probrably help you out if you get stuck on the trail sometime also.

I used to bash them also, I listened to too many honda guys saying they blow up all of the time. Then I got one for 950 bucks at a repo auction, got it running the first day I had it home. Been hooked ever since. My bro HAD a built up 310r. After I switched pipes and dialed my shee in I smoked his big buck r. He sold it shortly after The shee was already ported, had different carbs ect though. Not bad for a 950 dollar machine though. Been riding it for over 2 years now also with ZERO problems other then a set of warped reeds. I'm looking into some wilder intake porting, or going to a long rod motor next. One thing I do know is that I'll never sell my banshee.
