  1. Are cheeta's worth the extra dough? Would they work with my t5's, carbs and intake I already have. How do they compare with reworked stockers? In the next yr or two I'll be looking for a used cheetah setup, or have more radical porting done to my stockers. I figured with powervalves and all they should run pretty mean.
  2. It wouldn't be so bad if hillbillies didn't try to climb it with there regular fullsize trucks. The only thing that smooths it out is sand rails that drag there rear brakes all the way to the bottom, or a good rain with no hill traffic. The place is almost too popular anymore. I seen the trail groomer once, its just a for 5000 with a blade on the back, nothing really special.
  3. Anyone know where there would be a job for a cnc programmer with 5 yrs experience in michigan? Or any other computer related job? That pays decent and has insurance coverage?
  4. I'm guessing 500ft On a ported shee you can get into 5'th. Just warning you that sometimes the whoops are big enough to double in the middle. I'm not sure about the far right. The left side had em too last time I seen.
  5. http://www.wimp.com/testday/ Suzuki's#1 getting ready for a test
  6. Post the results of the gytr, always looking for more performance. But don't want to mess around with different curves.
  7. I run pro pegs, and would like to get the new style heel gaurds. I couldn't use the oldstyle do to my fullbore plastic. I hear x-factor nerfs were really good also.
  8. I got an ac for less then 125, its pretty thin though. You can get a dg (.190 thick) through shade tree for like 100 bucks right now. I have one of those on the warrior, pretty tough stuff. Fit better then the ac did too. I cut out foam, and put it between my frame and the skid hooks on the banshee. It fit tight, and has showed no signs of loosening yet.
  9. They usually run stockers, it isn't that steep anymore (used to be 3 yrs ago) Just really whooped out anymore. Most people are running stockers, haven't seen any marvin shaws there yet. The parkinglot is right next to the hill. You don't have to ride much more then 300ft to the hill. Directions driving all the way to the hill can be tricky, pm me if you want them. I'll post some more close ups when I get home, the whoops are pretty big at the bottom. In alot of cases a race can be lost at the bottom. Its certainly not the biggest hill there, but it is the widest, and most open. Beware, there can be alot of stupid people out there on weekends.
  10. Yes! especially on holiday weekends. If your looking for competition, then friday and satarday afternoons it gets crowded. Holiday weekends are just as bad as silver lake! There are some alchy shee's and monster motor hondas that are there at times.
  11. Here's me climbing it on the thumper, thats what it looks like right now
  12. Bull gap is whooped out, Dusty d's in standish (closed right now) Has a nice flatt field for dragging. Had enough room to run it through the gears. It's free (you should leave a 5 dollar tip before you leave) its private owned, and spark arrestors and stickers aren't needed. Its located 2 miles out of standish. Dusty is a wild biker dude, his party house is right by the drag stripp. There's trails, tracks ponds ect there also, if you have a play banshee also like mine, you'd love it. There would be enough room there for you to test. Bull gap would be great but it is whooped out bad. I'll post you some pics, hang on
  13. Hey Brooke! This ones calling your name!http://www.cafepress.com/bansheehq.4687666?zoom=yes#zoom Thats pretty cool, gonna have to get some stickers for the trailer.
  14. I run just an mx ported play 350 motor, here it is http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...opic=34510&st=0 Not in the same zipcode as yours. I just ride at bull gap and meadows. I live outside of portaustin, near grindestone. We have 40 acres here.
  15. I heard you have to wait forever to get them. Did you have any troubles?
  16. I have trinity stage 2 ported jugs, gone over by micro edm. My bike makes good power everywyere. My compression is only 142 exactly on both cylinders. Even with the giant flat slides and no air box it makes really good mid power. It'll pull the front wheels off of the ground rolling on the throttle. I never have to clutch it, ever! Unless I want some extra boost in a higher gear racing up hlls. Tony Burkhart will be hogging out a little extra when it comes apart, and some case porting(hopefully) will be done two. Probrably for about 200 bucks. Not sure what kind of pistons I'll be going with this time, right now it has some cut wisecos in it.
  17. I'll race you on what ever you have with my banshee. If you have a bike I'll line up my 426 with it too. Pussy!
