Thank You! It could be simple yet effective...OR, we could just make the site a "pay site" for like $3 a month and that alone would weed out a lot of BS posters. I don't know about the rest of you guys but I'd pay $3 a month to have access to a quality banshee forum....well worth it to me for the knowledge/friendships I gain! Just another thought of mine...

I think that would be a good idea BUT boonman ALSO has a good point. There just might be some top knotch folks wanting to be a part of the HQ that could genuinely help out...I got an idea of my own, how about if you see a particular member post x amount of worthless posts w/in a certain time period, or for that matter someone who has x amount of bad reports about them they get "banned" from posting. Just an idea... What do you guys think?

Hi everyone! I just got a set of used Toomey T5's and was trying to repack the silencers and am having the hardest time trying to get the retainer clip off at the tip part of the silencer. I've tried using needle nose plyers but it just isn't cutting the mustard. Does anyone that has a set of T5's know a good way of getting this clip off? It's the only thing holding me back right now and if you've repacked your silencers I'm pretty sure you know which clip it is I'm talking about...I could take a pic of what I'm having trouble with if that would help. Any input is greatly appreciated!!!! THANKS!!

Agreed, but it's blatently obvious what kind of person you're dealing with when they can't even create a legible sentence... what kind of person is that? man if that ain t judging a book by the cover. I don't at all wanna start an argument here but I think a majority of this forum is judging people by their "cover". Somebody can slip up once and piss one person off and then everyone hates them...or for that matter if someone has an opinion that not everyone likes that person turns in to stupid, or a dumbass, or whatever applies. Don't know why but it seems that's just the way it is...I'm sure you've noticed but a lot of the people with the horrible posting (grammar wise) are usually YOUNG kids that just wanna talk smack most of the time anyhow, only because they can "hide" behind their PC cause they know they'll never encounter anyone on this forum and have to face up to reality. I'm sure there are those folks that just have bad spelling as well, some people can't help it. Hell, my father couldn't spell to save his life but at least you could understand what he was trying to say. The stuff I'm mainly talking about are the posts that you just can't comprehend, people that have run-on sentences throwing mispelled words all through it; you can't decifer the point they try and get out...Oh well, I'm sure I'll catch all kinds of hell for posting this but it's just my thought and opinion. Take it as you want, I have no hate or disrespect for anyone on here.

I don't know, I'm kinda mixed opinion on this one. Sometimes I'll make a goof or two and not care much about it and for that matter anyone else's careless errors. We ARE human and DO make mistakes. BUT, when I read a post and it makes no sense whatsoever grammatically, it makes me think the person writing the post is a total idiot; regardless of whether or not they truly are...just my .02 in the pile

I would say go with some PT's. They look similar to stock and I have heard some pretty nice things about them. And, of course, you could just paint/powdercoat them black to hide the bling factor

Yeah, wouldn't worry about it unless you feel something wrong. My shee smokes pretty good after I dog it pretty hard; once I ease off for a minute shee seems to tone down on the smoking. I just figured since I'm runnin it hard, getting it good and hot, the oil is burning more with increase in temp...just my thoughts..

I know this is kinda off the topic but how do you guys like your Pro Circuits? I'm kinda torn on which pipe to get and I found a really good deal on a set of PC platinums. I'm trying to decide between a set of T5's or the PC's...I like the sound of the smoothness in the PC's, but I also like what I hear about the punch the T5's pack...Any suggestions? I ride mainly trails and a few open fields so whatever would apply best is what I'll aim for. THANKS guys!!!

Thanks guys!! I'm gonna try and pick up some jets this weekend, and hope to have them installed by the next weekend. I'm really leaning towards the airbox mod just to get that little extra umph on the shee. The pipes I'm running rev pretty high but not enough to really be called a high rev pipe. I'm guessing I'll just start with 2 sizes bigger jets and see what happens. I'll DEFINITELY let you guys know the results!! I can't thank you all enough, especially for getting back so quickly!!! Thank you both for the info!!! VERY helpful! I would say the temp range it's best at would probably be between 60-90 right now. In Memphis, it usually doesn't get below 20-30 degrees so I'm guessing I would need to buy the next 2 bigger sized jets for safe measures. Hey Banchetta, if I were to do the airbox mod you talk about (1.5" off the lid) how many sizes would I need to go up on jets? Thanks so much!!!

Hi everyone! This is my first winter with the banshee and am curious as to how far up I should go on jetting. I currently have DG pipes, K&N w/stock airbox, stock carbs, reeds, etc..I'm runnin 290 mains right now and it runs great. How far up should I go in jets or can I bump the needle clip up a notch? Thanks a million in advance!!!
