  1. Sweet, I'll be calling you when I'm in need.
  2. How do you clean the cleavage on the girl in your avatar? Oh wait, I know that one, with my tongue.
  3. How old is this kid? Maybe you should be riding the banshee and he/she should be riding an ex or something. 80lbs is awfully light on a shee.
  4. This is a "See it to believe it" kinda place Just kidding. Welcome patna.
  5. Thanks guys. I have plenty of ideas, kinda like the fanny pack around the seat idea, may try that. Appreciate the info. Scott
  6. I'm going to buy something to carry on the bike with me, but not sure what I want. I wanted to hear some of your opinions. I'd like to be able to mount a small pack on the banshee, similar to a fender bag for bikes. Don't know what I want. Scott
  7. I agree with all the above statements. Fastest way to rule out the gas is to drain it, very easy to do, and replace it with new gas. You might have to clean the carbs out. It is possible to get semi-bad gas from a store, and then let it sit for a month and it really goes sour.
  8. I keep a 15 tooth up front and do minor adjustments at the rear sprocket.
  9. It did seem to return a little slower, and the pull seemed a little harder. I don't like the big honkin reservoir on the bars, it's bad enough to have the damn brake reservoir on the other. I don't like the whole dang thing.
  10. Also have the Tag bars / CR Lo and they're great. The Tag grips are great also, very cushy.
  11. yep, and an airblower will help out with blowing out the small holes.

    Stock Chain

I have a dirty stock chain off my bike and laying in the shop. You can take it if you want.
  13. That sounds pretty close, depending on if your airbox lid is on or not and what kind of filter your using. If the lid is on, you might be a tad rich on the main at your elevation. If it's off, you'll be real close, and good baseline to start at. I don't remember what the stock setting for the needle is, but I would have it in the 3rd clip down at very minimum, maybe even 4th, though that might be a tad rich at your elevation. Only one way to find out, and they are simple to adjust.
  14. The 33mm is a waste of time. It helps, but the 35 does just as good stock and is much better when you get the additional mods, due to the increase in airflow. The cost for the 35 isn't much more than the 33 and it's worth the cost, especially for the long run. If you buy the 33, it won't be long before you wish you had the additional airflow of the 35, trust me. The Trinity kit is a simple install. The Graydon kit is a little more extensive and some say may make a tad more power due to the longer intake runner, but I haven't ever heard that for a fact. I like the ease of the Trinity kit, personally.
  15. A friend of mine always uses the top end kits from a company in the Parts Unlimited book, or is the other book can't remember, but the name of the company is a few initials, like CT (it's not CT Racing), or CIT or something, can't remember. They make the pistons and all. You guys have any idea what the hell I'm talking about?
  16. The only true way I know to make it run cooler would be the following: Engine Ice Pro Design Impeller Oversize radiator I believe the Coolhead will help the flow, but like I said before the compression will offset the temp. drop. Agree 100%. I'm just too cheap to buy a oversize radiator. My bud has had one in his garage for about a year and hasn't installed it yet. I keep thinking of a way to thieve it without him knowing.
  17. make sure you wax your head afterwards.
  18. Elka directly or Duncan Racing. I bought mine from Duncan and had really good luck, but I'm sure going through Elka would work good also.
  19. I use stabilizer with every jug I fill up, unless I'm on a trip and I know I'll be using the fuel. My work gets so busy, I may not be able to ride much for a week or two sometimes, and while I konw that two week old fuel is okay, the one time it gets longer than that, I like to make sure my fuel is good. It won't hurt anything at all. When I was in high school, I had a problem with bad fuel once and ever since have used stabilizer. On our ranch, we have 2 500 gallon diesel tanks and a 500 gallon gas tank and we always have stabilizer on hand for the tanks, so I just use it for my banshee too.
  20. Gosh, you guys are so great... Thanks for the replies. I guess if I wasn't such a dumbass, I could have figured that one out. Actually, I never really thought about it.
  21. I'll agree with that also. Even if there was a 5% reduction, the extra heat from the higher compression would offset that. Maybe in stock compression there may be a little (I actually don't know), bumping up compression in any way adds heat and would offset any small gain you have from the head.
  22. Great low to mid pipe. Good for woods and mx. Definitely not a top end pipe.
  23. I was going to say Dennis Kirk or Rocky Mountain.
  24. I have this sweet Matco 3/8 torque wrench with in-lbs markings and I use it all the time for small stuff. But I don't know how to convert it to ft-lbs which limits its use. There are tons of stuff on the shee I could use it for, but I have to break out the 1/2 wrench becasue I can't convert the specs. Anyone have a multiplier or something? Scott
  25. Don't get a "Jet kit". Go to the dealer or CarbParts.com and order the necessary jets. You'll save some money and don't get parts you don't need.
