  1. i don't use my bar pad. i like the look of the tag bar clamps and the chrome bar. they look good as hell like that and i don't like the look of the fat bar pads personally. do you know the bend on the bars? cr low, cr hi, banshee bend?
  2. i was busting some ramps and hitting like 30' and 40' long. the only thing in the damn picture is my front tires as I'm just starting to take off, plus it's blurry as hell. DDDOOOOOOOOOHHHHH!!!!!!
  3. hell, i'd wait on the -2 swingarm. you can get buy pretty good with the stocker till it shits out or you've taken care of the other shit.
  4. haha, dirtygirl. btw, my pics are so f*&ked up. the camera man needs to be hit with a 2x4!! then my scanner ain't freaking working. i'll get it figured out.
  5. I had one on my 250r I rode for years. Sold it and didn't have a quad for 5 years. I've had the banshee for a year and a half and remember how much I loved the twist, but it's been so long, I've been reluctant to try it again. They are sweet when you get used to it. I'll probably make the switch back.
  6. Weird. If it's only oil, it must be seperating from the fuel and settling to the bottom. I'd be more worried about that then why it's leaking. Honestly, it's probably just an oring. Drain the fuel and take the petcock off and you'll find it in there somewhere.
  7. Engine Ice, straight from the bottle. Runs quite a bit cooler, looks purty and won't kill your dog. It runs cooler than Watter Wetter too, as I'm sure it will be brought up. Get it from the dealer or RockyMountainATV.com. Just in case, here's some "cool" info: Engine Coolant 101
  8. Hot damn! Another helper in the world. Congrats man, that's great to hear.
  9. yeah, i'd be looking in the carb, mainly at the pilot or needle. could be a clog in the pilot also.
  10. Don't have a clue. Sorry.
  11. How is the main. I wouldn't worry about your off idle response until your main is jetted correctly. Once you get the main jet right, then you can work down through the jetting circuits to dial it in. You may or may not need to run the 4th notch, that is richer than the 3rd and if you have problems with the 4th, then back off one and see how it performs then.
  12. I decided to wear my black pants I wear trail riding and mudding in my 4x4. Well, I didn't realize they were sensitive to heat. I now have little black specs all over a part of my pipes. I couldn't figure out what the hell, and I looked at the pants and they have marks on them, plus they say "Do No Iron". Now gotta figure out how to get it off.
  13. Start with 200 and see where your at on the main. As far as pilot, just dial it in when you get the main set. The PJs run a little different than my PWK on the pilot I believe. You should try the needle in the 4th position also, that will help the midrange response a lot.
  14. there you go. sprockets are cheap. $14 and $17 for front and rears, or something like that. It's stupid not too change when they're that cheap.
  15. Make sure to get one pre 2001 so you get the adjustment screw in it for fine tuning the grab point.
  16. same here
  17. Yep, I was looking for that damned Zeppelin flag. Ended up finding Derek's truck. Was hoping to test out those Pro Circuits of yours. Sorry to hear about your problems there. I was down at the drags both Fri. & Sat. off and on, even tested out the ol' Fatties some.
  18. These are dual lines coming off the master. I didn't really think about that before you said it. T469, do you have a pic of those, that sounds like it may look a little funny, you say you like it better?
  19. Yeah, I heard Depends has a great sponsorship program for the seniors class.
  20. whatsup blue? nice meeting you this weekend. i wish i could've rode with you a little more, but we'll catch it next time. i'll definitely be making more trips out, i just gotta straighten out both my rims a little more.
  21. cooler air is denser than warmer air, therefore, cooler air will richen a fuel mixture when compared to warmer air. that doesn't mean that's your problem, but you might need to bring your idle down some with the idle screw and if it's idling a little funny then adjust your air screw.
  22. I can't seem to keep my front end down my self!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know, those Kodiaks are loaded with torque.
  23. no shit. I was out at the dunes this weekend and hopped on a buddies banshee. He had just bought it and didn't know a f'ing thing about it or how to work on it. He wanted me to "see how it felt". I could not keep the front end off of the ground and the front end felt way lighter. He had a -2 swingarm on it. That sucker would wheelie all day long and easy, it felt just like being on a z400 or something, as far as front end lightness. It really made my front end feel heavy when I got back on mine. Not sure which I liked more.
  24. hotwiring mothaf*&ka yeah, just take the wires and put them together and that will get it to go, better yet, get you a tether switch and put that on there.
  25. thanks for the input, i'll be placing my order shortly. Scott
