I thought I was on top of the air leak. When I put all on I tightend it to specs and Tightened to specs again after a nice warm up. Using the base gaskits that came with pistons thin blue and cometic on the intakes. I even checked for an airleak 2 days befor with a colman propane torch. what would cause a crank seal to go bad? well Im going to be lookin for a new set up soon.

Thats a little exspenseive aint it. That kit went on ebay 3 days ago minus servo cables and rebuilt powervalves for less than 6 hundo. How much without the machine work? Welcome to the HQ

Yes the specifics would have to worked out. This for instance hypatheticaly, I was thinking of, Ill call it "Video Team" of five people more or less. They make a lay out of the video. They want members to send in Shots of drags, jumps ,races crashes, Funny stuff, tit shots or a crazy shit etc. They would each recieve videos that were sent in from the members, Each would review what they got sent and decide wich clips they thought were the best. Thust excluding shaky shots, wondering shots etc. Then review what they decided on with each other and make a decision. The members would have to decide what they want to send in Keeping it limited for the sake of the Team. If the Team needed more The Team could just post we need more of this kind of stuff. (I thought there would be someone on this site that has expeience with film and a wicked ass computer or a connect that could make it happen. ) Base the tape of what the memders want to see. Yes I thought about the quality, For marketing to the public it would help. Yeah that would be cool but I think we got to start small I was just thinking of an HQ riding tape. I dont own the HQ I wouldnt get no royalties maybe for the Idea but I doubt it. Everyone elses cut is just being in the tape. They dont look to bad. There is some vertical marks by the intakes and exhaust. I can still see the cross hatchings visibly even through the marks. I hope Ill be able to get away with a hone. It was my first engine build, Thats how you learn. I posted this lookin for a direction of where I went wrong with the melted pistons. I know the crank should of been welded. I guess not many people read this section or they just ignore my posts.

Ive got a big problem. My left piston looks like silly puddy on the exhaust side of the crown. Its also missing a slight moon crest size piece where the ring sits exhaust side making the ring visible. the ring is all wavy warped. And a scuff by the left intake. My other piston looks to be ok i think. Or does it have trained eye signs of it? My crank is not welded and it backed off the pin where the lower end of the rod is butting it up to the case. On the same side as all this. Whole set up less than 1 year old I run a trinity 2-1 intake 35 pwk, 52 pilot, 225 main, needle in middle, K$N, ported, Dmc 916s, boyseen reeds, cool head 19cc domes, 110 turbo blue straight. Elevation around sea level. Oh yeah these are Namura power pistons cast and magnum crank. Today was 30 degrees and I had it jetted for 0-10 degrees. Rode it 15 minutes after a 10 minute warm up. Is this from being lean? I wasnt over heated nothing spewing out of the radiator. I realy wasnt beating on it either. So basicaly whAT IS THIS FROM. Here is the bad 1 Good piston

Did you use your existing crank and had them put long rods on? how much was it? Are you satisfied with it?

I like what Im hearing about this oil. I run super m 32-1 and I would like to change over. I have a gallon of this ams oil the one on the left. how should I change over? How much jetting change should i do? in mains /pilot/ air screw

You really wouldnt need to put them on your PC. I didnt even think of that I was thinking mail VHS tape to the agreed producer. Or if that person is equipt with the rite computer and accessories to do the job any kind of video recording could be used. this way can be done its kind of shitty with a home dvd recorder 2 vcr's, tv, cd player for the music and a multi channel audio mixer lots of rca cords . Its all up to everyone here and there ideas and help. there is alot of smart people, people with connections, rich, poor, old, young, pissed off, and happy. If everyone is down the posssiblitys are endless.

I gots a pretty damn good idea. I was reading another post about helmet cams and I thought wow. How about a BANSHEE HQ video shot by the members with cams. We can make a six hour video. no 1 hr pussy shit either. with option of quad motors or music. I prefere motor sounds wish they made those tapes like that. Everybody can throw in Ideas. We need a person to make the video (cut edit etc) get annominies and agree who we think is best for the job. For it to be open to every one have a pinned post on how to fabricate a cam setup cheap or whatever else. I have to many ideas my head wont stop aahahhaha Is this a good Idea or stupid one? Then we can put the smack down on all other sites + its all banshees smokin whatever else. What do you think about it LEE and eveyone else?

maybe im wrong, but isnt it the colder the air the thinner it is, and thats why you hve to make it rich cause more air can suck through creating a lean mixture?
