correct there is only one way for the slide to go in to the carb. But For example if your right slide was in your left carb then it would be backwards. Cut away always goes to the airbox

You can go to the autoparts store and get rubber plugs for 2.99 a piece get 4 at 1-1/4 for a forsure air tight fit. Then get a vaccuum pump also sold a the auto store. Install the plugs to the exhaust tighten then stick the other plugs in the intake boots may have to use the carb clamps also to get a good seal. Take 1 spark plug out install the vaccuum pump hose to the spark plug hole. With one sgueeze you should get close to 5-6lbs (no more than 5-6 lbs). It should hold pressure. If it doesnt you have a leak somewhere. Check the vaccuum pump for leaks no leaks, then its your engine. Take your stator and plate off. put dish soap around that seal and around anythying that takes a gasket. All soaped up them blow in to the hose not hard you should then be able to see bubbles blowin out where ever you have a leak.

After close inspection during daylight hrs and removing the rear plastic, instead of using a flashlight at 10 oclock at night. The blue wire had come undone. Plugged it back in got some new lights and they work. Thanks for the help. Thanks for the offer MRMOONEY

Im changing over to 2 Mikuni VM 34s with power jets. From a Trinity 2-1 intake 35mm PWK with a 230 main jet and 52 pilot. So where should the pilots and mains roughly be at? Then what size for the power jet. Im waiting to get my 2nd carb still I want to have the jets on hand when it arrives. Any one have any good suggestions for intkes? I was checking out UPP intakes are these any good? Is there any advantage to using a Billet intake rather than, a polyurathane intake? Does using a Billet intake make the intake of the gas cooler?

I thought the same thing. But I figured if that went bad wouldnt something else stop working or fry out? Or no?

Im back up and running with a 364 longrod motor . I also installed a timing plate w/ it advanced 4 degrees. I rode it for 20 min and then the next day I fired it up and the lights came on really bright. They went out then came on even more brighter and then went out and stayed out. I checked my ground I checked wires by the pipes it all seems to be good to go. So why would the lights do this. The only thing different is the timing plate. I m gonna get new bulbs but I dont want them to fry out 2min after I put them in. Any help would be great.

I dont think so, there is no cap and I think that cap is like 60.00 -100.00. There is all sorts of them tanks on there right now. I have a clark 5.6 its great. Here is one it takes a regular cap IMS TANK the other one is a quik fill or somthin like that.
