  6. Yep get it welded. Mine did the same thing as Rebelbanshee2
  7. There alittle wider than stock cages. Does anyone know who makes reeds for these. They have 3 screw holes
  8. I was thinkin to make a temp guage. I havent done this but want to, Instead of useing anything with the hose. I want to use the exsisting Drain holes on the cylinder s, with some type of auto aoto/cycle temp gauge. Then if you wanted you could run dual gauges for each side temp. Im not sure if the dual guages would work like that with the coolant flo and all. But I does seem like it would work since there directly located on the cylinder and 1/2 inch from the sleeve. It was just an Idea
  9. Elka
  10. There is brand new Elkas $900 1 day left no bids ELKA
  11. Hinson offers straight cut gears with different ratios. There might be somewhere else you can get standerd gears with different ratios but I dont know.
  12. For the leakdown test thats 6LBs of pressure for 6min? What do you and the rest of the big dogs recommend for gaskets? I think it was the base gasket because it was a lil gooey and tore with no force when I took it off. The other one wasnt . If my cylinder is un even at the base How can I check? what do I do Deck it? and then my port timing is lower on the top and bottom of the ports How do I correct this? On the crank seals would there be moist gritty shit around them if one was bad?
  13. Ebays got deals, I just got some used rear rims silver, buy it now $25 Ive been waiting for some fronts but no luck on the price
  14. I wish it would of been 2hrs from me Hope it works out,

  16. Can anyone tell me wtf makes that a stage3 carb kit.
  17. Ebay Yamaha Frames
  18. In my opinion get rid of the Trans Am unless its a GTA. Get the banshee and if you decide you want a car spuce up the Banshee sell it. Use that money and go to those car auctions with your Dad. You can get 94-96 TAs for less than $5500 all day long on dealer lots. Auctions around here you can get 95-97 trans ams for $2500 bucks or less. Old Trans ams sell for less than $800. If you do keep the car and your just getting your liceanse youll have more ticket than you can shake your wallet at. Or maybe your resposible and wont be doin dougnuts, burnouts, fishtales Just my thoughts. Let us know what happens.
  19. TDRs web site is bansheesuperstore.com
  20. where can I get some info on the rockets?
  21. Thats a good idea too HOLYMAN.
  22. To keep the rim on example On the hub part. lets say its 1/2 inch thick crank end to crank end going that direction. You got the hub arm with a hole through it. Machine 1/2 the hole off at 1/4 in depth. thus leaving 1/4 inch on one side of the hole and a half inch on the other. Then create the opposit pattern on the rim creating a puzzle fit. Then bolt the holes . Then the hub arms would be pushing it and holding it at the same time. Im trying to type it out of my head it would be easier to draw. But do you get what im saying? (edit )If you think this is a good idea I have a ton more. There almost room for improvement on anything. The sick thing is I understood that Flywheel theory. I couldnt do the mathmatical equasion though and Im far from collage material
  23. I just seen the FlyWheel theory page. I could be missing the point but I have these Ideas. Why not create A lightweight metal hub to mount to the crank (like an 87 rear sprocket hub design) and machine a heavier outer rim to mount on it. This for tight course. And then have lightend rim for WOT. Then sell an intechangable fly wheel setup. If im getting what you guys are saying.
  24. Did anyone else see the Chopper build off, on the learning channel. That one builder created the centerless back wheel. Its was trick as all hell. Just brought that up cause it kinda relates.
  25. Then create a fly wheel set up like a sprocket hub setup. The hub mounts on the crank the outer rim mounts to the hub. Now If I had a machine shop and Dyno. Dam
