  1. I would recommend dropping the needle to lean out the mid circuit, change nothing else+ report back with findings.I'm sure we can help you out. By changing only one thing at a time+testing.Note the change in performance+let us know the results.
  2. If it's slightly rich it will struggle+not rev cleanly to peek .If slightly lean it will usually rev up quicker but be zingy+pop through the pipe.
  3. I'm going to assume your uninformed+leave it at that .R.I.P. Brooke
  4. I have had great luck with ElMonty rv rental just south of Sandiego.John is the owners name+a good guy to deal with. He's allways treated my brother+myself real well.I have also had good deallings with LUV TO CAMP.They will deliver camper of your choice to the dunes+pick it up when you done. You just show up+it's ready for you when you arrive.Or you could rent a class c from the first place+ drive there in about 2+!/2 hours.
  5. Rodney Good to hear from ya! I'm still around, just don't post much anymore.Say hello to Angie+your boys for me.Lets try to get the og crew together for another roostfest! I'm game, just have to blow the dust off the shee+stock up on the meds.
  6. Yes that is correct.
  7. Stock one is 36 7/16 total overall. From outside of splines, before it necks down for the threads it's 34 3/8+a good inch for threads each side=36 7/16.Inside of hub mounts are 31 1/4 apart. So axle in question must be at least a+2.
  8. Yes.The only difference between the two Knuckles is the mounting points for the calipers. Your complete older set up will work on the newer set up as long as you use your older calipers too.
  9. I had the same problem.Went to the local hardware store an purchased 4 grade 8 bolts with4 nylon lock nuts.Installed bolts reversed with nuts on the outside.Problem solved.
  10. You will loose throttle response or snap.Your topend might be stronger, but getting there will be slower with the bigger carbs.
  11. Try to look at it this way.Engine A will use x amount of fuel regardless of what carbs are applied. The carbs job is to atomize the fuel mixture+supply the engine a consistent ratio of air to fuel, through out the whole rpm range.Basically when you over carb,The weaker signal, velocity or draw through the larger carb will not produce a consistently sufficient signal for the carb to work optimally through out it's three circuts.
  12. It's in Pittsfield Ma,basic state park camping set up.no hook ups where were at.Our camp site should accommodate at least 30 people so space shouldn't be a problem.Ma.atv registration is required.JT+some of his crew may be coming as well. If you know Billy+Mike from the NY crew tell them about it as well.Tell them the Farkers from Boston are putting together a ride.
  13. A group of riders from the Cape along with my brother+myself will be there over the weekend.Camping+ripping up the trails.Should be a good time.
  14. Either the float is to high or the needle+seat are not sealing correctly or both. The bowl to body surface should be a o-ring seal on those carbs.
  15. F.I.O. Racing.Could possibly be a option, but you'd have to run a green stripe under the logo for the first year. You would also be expected to exude yourself with the utmost in professionalism. This is assuming your application is accepted after further review.
  16. I'd start with 165 mains,48 pilots,JJH needles.
  17. Is the adjustment stud broken off or did it un thread itself+fall out?First inspect the stud+see if it's actually broken. Excessive force applied to the shifter could damage the stud to the point of failure.
  18. Brother Joe+myself along with the rest of our traveling circus :rotflmao:are trying to put together a plan.Nothing is definite as of yet,but I'm working it.
  19. Matt, Bike looks great!Nice job.Glad to hear you got the bugs worked out.Hopefully I'll be shredding some sand with you+your crew this February. :cheers:John
  20. That sounds real close.I would up the mains to 158'to start with. The JJH's are also a excellent choice for your application. You'll probably end up with 48 pilots+155 mains at around 65 deg.
  21. Richard's Bushings 413-443-1141 In Pittsfield Ma.Give Rich a call,he's a good guy+probably has what you need.
  22. Brian,give me a call.I have a good stock crank 100.00.
  23. ''Dude'',them the ones.I'm in Ma.
  24. Chrome T3's with some dents but in good shape.Complete with silencers+black painted stinger tubes.175+shipping.
  25. My beater
