With my patriot 4mill mx port.I've tried pt mids,pt revs,t3's,+t5's.The mids worked best on the botton through the mid but fell off way to soon for my style.The t5's pulled the hardest+longest up top(over rev).The rev's are allmost the best of both worlds,they come on sooner+have a much smoother or linear power,band than the toomey's,but sign off a little earlyer.

  5. I have one out of a 97,all stock.Bolt in+go.The only drawback is it's on its last bore 65.50 Complete with carbs.1200.00 plus shipping.
  6. If your at sea level at about 60 deg.your very close on the main. The pilot sounds big to me.My unported set up is realy close to yours+i run a 25 piolet,toomey needles in the middle ,air screw 1 turn out,300 main.With t5 pipes+airbox cover off.

  8. I use them.they have excellent strait line hook up,also a great all around tire.they are heavy though(6 ply)+only come in 22in.I let Reas borrow a set for coalfest+ he was impressed with their performance.

  11. So far i'm very impressed for the money.Yes the axle nut is included with the axle.There is also many combinations of widths you can choose from with the 2 spacers for each side(4 total).The fit+finish is good quality too.
  12. Sounds like you've covered all bases real well.I would suggest swapping the cdi box out with a known good one from a friends shee if possable.

  15. Rare,I have the same unit that i run on a 97.On my set up their's a blue+a brown wire with female butt connectors that are'nt used.I assume their for reprogaming the curves with a adaptor +a laptop.

Paul, i'm very intrigued by your theory.don't get me wrong i'm not doubting you,just confussed.So i tested a spark plug+the only continuity is between the electrode+the plug cap post.so how can a charge that originates from the coil travel in that manor.From ground(the strap)to the electrode.I'm really not to good with electronics+such but that just dos'nt seem possable.Every thing thats grounded on the bike would have to be energised no?Or am i just reading it wrong?

After you jet it in to it's optimum with what you have.If the needle circuit is'nt spot on or your not satasified with it you can fine tune it with other needles that have a different rate of transiton through the taper,this will provide a different fuel ratio at the same throttel position.To determine which one you need. You'll have to test+decide if it wants more or less fuel+go from there.I know a lot of people who order carb parts from sudco.
