Jon The FIO crew. Mike,Dave,Ej,Joe,Tobin+myself have been ridding every sunday down here on the cape.Your name came up when i talked to Jason last week.He was going to call you to see if you wanted to come to the cape with him for a day of ridding.
I was up there in october. My bro+i hung out with banchetta+his family,+we tore up the pit on sat+sunday. It was'nt like the old days, thier was maybe 10 of us total. We had a great time+did some good hillclimbing.Glad to see that old honda running again. Last time i rode with Jon,his bike did'nt like that California air i guess
I would try a CGL first. The middle letter is the length of the needle. That way your only changeing the length of the needle to a longer one,not the taper or diameter.
I had the pleasure of dealing with Jeff Wendorff of F.A.S.T.I would highly recomend him for all of you quad related items! His customer service is 2'nd to none.
It sounds like the pilot jet is too small.there is a idle mixture screw in the front bottom of the carb bowl area.It works backwards compaired to the banshee set up.Turning it out will richen the idle circuit, just don't go past 3 1/2 turns. After doing what Champ said. I'd start there then up the piolet jet if needed.
Welcome Steve I have a 97 Thats the year they changed the styles on the plugs+what not.On mine their is only one blue wire comeing out of the regulator, that connects to a blue wire in the main harness.Yes your ground should be connected.
Did you soke the clutch fibers in tranny oil before installing?I had a similiar problem that went away after i tipped the bike on its side(for a couple minutes) to saturate the clutch assembly with oil.It shook so bad prior to that,i thought the crank went south.
The stock jjh needles worked real well with my 370 long rod set up.I'm going to try a jkh for more adjustability. Now it likes the leanist clip setting,so the k series should get me closer to the middle setting.
In my opinion the pwk's are a better design+much easyer to dial in.The 28 pwk's will be better than the board out stockers.Champ's carbs sound like the best bang for you bucks.
