I have a buddy that says that if you haven't did your top end or at least your rings in more than two years, there is a good chance that you will blow your engine. Is this true? I have a 2000 shee that I bought used and i am not sure if that was done previously or not and I am seriously thinking about this. Can I do a compression check or something that will tell me what kind of shape my rings are in or should I just get a complete kit and do it all? X-mas is coming and that's something to ask for, right !!

Hey all, I just changed out my tranny fluid with some Maxima MTL 2 cycle transmisson fluid with the clutchsaver formula and what diff. I was banging through my gears yesterday and it was like butter! Just kinda curious if anyone has used this product and is as happy about it as I am?

O.K. I drained my tranny fluid and when I filled it, with about 1.7qts. , it looked a little full. So my question is how far up the dipstick should the fluid go? I noticed there is a small pattern at the end of the dipstick but it it seems like that would be about 1 qt. Should my fluid be at the top of that pattern towards the tip of the dipstick or somewhere in the middle?

Ya there is a sand mountain in Nevada, it's about 45min to an hour away from me. I think there is one in Utah also, but don't quote me on that one. There is nothing like riding in the desert out here, I go out of my driveway and down the road a little and there is acres and acres of BLM land to just have a blast!! I love it out here!!
