  2. There was a guy that was friends with a friend of my wife, and we went over one day to shoot the shit, and there he is, sitting on his hands on the couch............. Later my wifes friend came up to me and said he was kind of embarrased that he had black painted fingernails, and he figured that I was a, hehe I loved this...."manly man" sort of guy. The guy was straight, but just a pansy I guess.....I wouldn't have cared. I might have laughed at him for a few minutes, but other than that, whatever. Not much surprises me anymore.   3. i tried the smaller plots and my bike cackled in the mids, so i went back to the fiftys, maybe its the 34's...that midrange snap is where all the balls are at in that engine though.....when im riding it a idle isnt my concern......

  7. i told ya all way back, when jim built my engine it hauled ass and i could swoop up on about any built shee, im glad to start seeing other HQ members as impressed as ive been with jims work, that motor running right is just a fuckin bullit, it comes on from the depths of Hell and pulls to the moon, so goes the saga in the annals of Passion Racing Engines, Jim has yet to send me my Passion Stickers though
  8. thats funny you mentioned idle, did you put the smaller plot in to make it idle?, mine wont idle without taking up the slack in my throttle cable, but runs like shit without the 50 are you able to adjust your idles at the choke pull knob and raise and lower the idle? jim will tell you his motor aint known for its idling skills.......i still think you should try the 50 and see if it wakes up the bottom end.........ive been burried at work so i havnt been on as much
  9. it lubes well but it does separate in the cold............shake yer bike before you turn on the gas, turn your gas off before you kill your bike
  10. id try a 50 pilot, 170 main should be cool,i keep mine a pinch rich on the top end with 118 octane and 927, im running 34's i supose the 35's would be close, with delta 2's it should roll right on, off an idle, i presume your timing is advanced? 14/41 is geared fairly low for that motor, geared that low you should be able to do a slow roll in 2cnd and smack the throttle and loop it, im not savy on the rocket pipes, but jetted right you should have outstanding bottom end, its gonna haul big ass on top thats just a by product of a good port job, ive had a ton of CR-500's and i know you have one, thats how your shee should run now, just start getting squirly right when you punch it, rolling slow over whoops just snap it on and it lifts, just like the CR, no clutching, im geared 17/40 and mine will rattle your cheeks from 60-100mph, my needles are center position also with a single K&N, my plug chops look brown closer to black than tan and allways wet, i think the 118 burns a little different than the pump stuff, you should be running at least straight 108, i ride between 3500 and 1000 feet mostly, anywhere from 40-90 degrees......i think from what you describe it wants more fuel on the bottom, and then when your 170 kicks in off you go but im not a jetting guru, but jetted right i know it shouldnt have any flat spots, thats whats so cool about jims motor, its hard to do with dual carbs but try and pull your chokes (both if you can) and see if it gets snappy or falls on its face.....

Pleased to meet ya Stealth...im Jim, i own a 20 million dollar recording studio in Los Angeles California, i built it from the ground up, from pouring the slabs to wiring all 80 thousand patch points ill smoke bud as i see fit, been puffin 25 years, dont do powder nor ever had the urge too, like a cold beer with a hot meal, sometimes i wont puff for months, other times several times a week i think if your a moron your fucked its just that simple, sometimes a guy just needs to relax to cope with the assholes in his enviorment, i remember when weed actually made you see shit, you mentioned drugs? i have kids too, taking them to mcdonalds is feeding them drugs, coffee is a drug, fuckin air in LA is a pack a day habit, id shit if my kids did drugs, but theres a difference between being 40 and 10 years old, most parents wouldnt blink if there 21 year old boy showed up at the house with a 12 pack, id rather see that same kid show up with a joint myself, as some judge sips whiskey from a flask in his desk he declares pot a crime, if weed was not a crime the goverment would loose billions of dollars a year taking it and its proceeds from people

Godammitt, Brian that was well said....... jims a Bad Mother fucker, he cares, maybe he has a 10 dollar an hour shcmow break your build down while he takes your call, but he got in this biz to hear you talk about the boner you got when you rode his bike, i can tell that from my coversaiotions with him and i called everyone before i talked to jim too and rode tons of pals bikes with Patriot and Port Magic bikes and i have a second Trinity ported Shee, Jim gave me just what i wanted, he's busy as f*ck.....but i bet i could call him right now and say " whats up Jimbee"....that kinda shit matters when your bike wont start......
  14. in all due respect to everyone....i own my own biz too, and word of mouth biz, is everything, jim at passion is a straight up dude as im sure Dan at patriot is, customer service is everything in business, i can spend my day taking calls. booking new work, not a bad thing, im going to go out on a limb here, Jims got a better motor, and is in the nationals........is Patriot?

Patriot build a damm fine motor, durable as hell, i can see why they are so busy, Passion also builds a great engine, but in my opinion a passion stroker has a pinch more grunt on the bottom, last weekend i rode a guys patriot stroker and had to feather his clutch everytime i came out of the whole, but when it came on it flew geared 16/41, if i did that on my passion stroker geared 17/40 id loop it, he rode my bike and was amazed how hard the first 4000 rpm pulled, but his bike had a fantastic over rev it just never stopped pulling on top, where my engine peaks his was still pulling, he had cpi inframes and pj 34's, id like to see how my engine runs with the cpi's and really be able to compare the 2 stroked engines
  18. for sure as tall as you can pull then, you might feather your clutch more but your bike will pull harder and cover more ground faster, i run a 17/40 and accelerate twice as fast as with a 14/41....if you have 50-60 horspower run a 15 up front if you have 60-70, run a 16 front, 70 and up try a 17...... dragging you dump second from the line and just real the other guy in, if he gets the jump...... and on loose terrain a stock geared shee will break the tires loose, loosing traction geared 14/41, so if you raise the horspower AND lower the gearing and race in the dirt, a stock banshee could very well whoop you in a drag cause you cant get it to the ground thats why most of us dirt riders shorten our swing arms, it gets you traction, in my opinion is if your bikes ported and runs snappy off the bottom and geared tall it will smoke a short geared bike all other things being the same

  25. i have a bike with heim and one with ball..i prefer the ball joint, ive had the heim come apart on me before.....and good ball joints are smoother....reaming the spindles is useing a tapered bit to open the diamiter of the spindle....for a beefy connection to the spindle
