  1. looks a bit lean to me, adjust your needle and pilot. what pilot and clip are you running.??
  2. yeah compared to the other needles suggested cgl needles are leaner for sure. i would suggest a dek, del and go from there. like i said my jetting was for 1000ft. 48-50 pilots, mid, 150-155 should be close for 2000ft. do soem plug chops. hope this helps.
  3. i was told by shock experts that unless you jump or do moto cross very aggresive you really dont need rezzies. just casual jumping regular dual rates will work fine.

  6. you just run the plate by itself with no gaskets, just use plenty of like ultra gray or yamabond. you might talk to your builder or guy that ported the cylinders on how it would work, i know sometimes it messing the timing up with raising the cylinders. and if you seal it correctly it wont leak and will work correctly. its just like a gasket just a lot thicker. people say its another place to have an air leak so are base gaskets. anyways. your builder might suggest cut domes, who knows its just in how the port timing will be
  7. pj and pwk use the same jetting spec they are basically the same carb just have different idle adjustments. the info i gave earlier is what i used to run with my pjs. ran good, shearers at 1000ft. also what needle were you running that tim suggested???

  9. if your bike is just sitting not warmed up, it will smoke worse, your pics dont look that bad. what oil are you running and what ratio??

  11. usually backfire is a sign of lean. what do your plugs look like black or white?? i was suggesting you just swap out a stator to see if yours is working correctly, also your wood riff key is on teh crank and fly wheel.
  12. are the slides in correctly the cut towards teh filters, also you might swap out that rs stator with a known one many are having problems with them.
  13. if you desire 9 degrees advance and have the gas and all that, do like 2 wot passes and see if the plugs are still in the head adn pull them out if they look normal, no gray flaky stuff you might be ok. i know it depends on your domes the specs not just the squish to run lot of compression and timing, you get the velocitys and bands too high, and pressures off the chart it will blow up. you might try like 5 degs then up it to like 7 and see if it really makes a difference.
  14. were the domes from the same people ?? if not im leaning the squish band and velocitys were different and with lots of timing it was knocking. if same and cut the same, something is fishy.
  15. thought it was a 17mm cant remember for sure, that why its nice to have a complete set of impact sockets.
  16. i have a total hinson setup, 8 disk, its a pain to buy fibers and plates but it sure holds up better being an 8 disk. also if your gear thing doesnt work out i have a outer and inner gear.
  17. try 1 turn out, and the 4th clip on the needle.

  19. 50-52 pilots, dek mid clip, 150-155 mains should be close. cel, cek, del, dek are very popular and work well.
  20. dans been that way for a bit now, emails only, working full time. he will return emails just might be a day or 2 will say.
  21. toomey needle is longer but thinner compared to stock, suspose to be smoother power band who knows thats according to toomey.
  22. cameron does very nice work. great guy you wont be disapointed. just tell him what your goign to run pipes, carbs, etc adn how you want the bike to run, he will set you up.
  23. you can get a set of pjs pretty cheap anymore compared to pwk 35s. they are about the same size adn what not. they are good carbs you just have to adjust the idle by turning the choke knob you will need a good carb sync tool, igot mine from jeff. it will help, honestly its a must for any banshee with 2 carbs. im not a fan of air strykers, the jetting is way different compared to reg pwk. so if you have some problems its hard to compare spec with other unless they run a/s. not saying they arent good carbs just different.

    i think the bitch about trinity was they talk a lot of shit basically and people felt like they werent getting the power promised. some of their porting that has been posted over the yrs is nice and some is beyond hacked up. their customer service on getting parts has been awful. my suggestion is get a 4mm dune port motor. i wouldnt waste the bores to get a big bore unless its over 80 thousands allready. there are many good builders to build you a 4mm duner. search and get some phone numbers and start calling and talk stuff over. best of luck
