George Carlin telling us how he really feels "Been sitting here with my ass in a wad, wanting to speak out about the bullshit going on in New Orleans. For the people of New Orleans... First we would like to say, Sorry for your loss. With that said, Let's go through a few hurricane rules: (Unlike an earthquake, we know it's coming) #1. A mandatory evacuation means just that...Get the hell out. Don't blame the Government after they tell you to go. If they hadn't said anything, I can see the argument. They said get out... if you didn't, it's your fault, not theirs. (We don't want to hear it, even if you don't have a car, you can get out.) #2. If there is an emergency, stock up on water and non-perishables. If you didn't do this, it's not the Government's fault you're starving. #2a. If you run out of food and water, find a store that has some. (Remember, shoes, TV's, DVD's and CD's are not edible. Leave them alone.) #2b. If the local store has been looted of food or water, leave your neighbor's TV and stereo alone. (See #2a) They worked hard to get their stuff. Just because they were smart enough to leave during a mandatory evacuation, doesn't give you the right to take their stuff...it's theirs, not yours. #3. If someone comes in to help you, don't shoot at them and then complain no one is helping you. I'm not getting shot to help save some dumbass who didn't leave when told to do so. #4. If you are in your house that is completely under water, your belongings are probably too far gone for anyone to want them. If someone does want them, let them have them and hopefully they'll die in the filth. Just leave! (It's New Orleans, find a voodoo warrior and put a curse on them.) #5. My tax money should not pay to rebuild a 2 million dollar house, a sports stadium or a floating casino. Also, my tax money shouldn't go to rebuild a city that is under sea level. You wouldn't build your house on quicksand would you? You want to live below sea-level, do your country some good and join the Navy. #6. Regardless of what the Poverty Pimps Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton want you to believe, The US Government didn't create the Hurricane as a way to eradicate the black people of New Orleans; (Neither did Russia as a way to destroy America). The US Government didn't cause global warming that caused the hurricane (We've been coming out of an ice age for over a million years). #7. The government isn't responsible for giving you anything. This is the land of the free and the home of the brave, but you gotta work for what you want. McDonalds and Wal-Mart are always hiring, get a damn job and stop spooning off the people who are actually working for a living. President Kennedy said it best... I've thanksgiving weekend was pretty big too, but never been there. Always up in Nebraska doing the family thing. This will be my first halloween ride too, but I heard it was a good time.

Just tried 2 55W with my stock stator-not worth messing with. It was dimmer than the stock lights. If i unplugged one it hella bright though.

it already has 5/16 hose on it. i pulled the line off the carb and opened up the valve, it's flowing, but i think it should flow more. i'm leaving for N.Y. tomorrow for a week, so i'll have to finish checking it out when i get back. you guys have fun at the HQ ride. i'd go, but it might be a problem if i wasn't there for my honeymoon.

where's the best place to look. the only one's i have seen are a dual feed. i have the single carb, so i would have to block one side off, kinda defeat the purpose wouldn't it.

I tried some old school fmf pipes and dg silencers on my 99. the pipe and silencer line up, but the diameter is different. I don't know if either changed anything since those were made or not. The silencers are same dia. as stock, the fmf pipes are smaller.

Still stock. There's a screen up in there too, isn't there? Maybe it's time to invest in a pingel. Do they flow that much more than stock?

No sex tonight? I never quite figured out why the sexual urges of men and women differ so much. And I never have figured out the whole Venus and Mars thing. I have never figured out why men think with their head and women with their heart. FOR EXAMPLE: One evening last week, my wife and I were getting into bed. Well, the passion starts to heat up, and she eventually says " I don't feel like it, I just want you to hold me." I said "WHAT????!!! What was that ?!" So she says the words that every man on the planet dreads to hear... "You're just not in touch with my emotional needs as a woman enough for me to satisfy your physical needs as a man." She responded to my puzzled look by saying, "Can't you just love me for who I am and not what I do for you in the bedroom?" Realizing that nothing was going to happen that night, we went to sleep. The very next day I opted to take the day off of work to spend time with her. We went out to a nice lunch and then went shopping at a big, big unnamed department store. I walked around with her while she tried on several different very expensive outfits. She couldn't decide which one to take so I told her we'll just buy them all. She wanted new shoes to compliment her new clothes, so I said lets get a pair for each outfit. We went onto the jewelry department where she picked out a pair of diamond earrings. Let me tell you...she was so excited. She must have thought I was one wave short of a shipwreck. I started to think she was testing me because she asked for a tennis bracelet when she doesn't even know how to play tennis. I think threw her for a loop when I said, "That's fine, honey. "She was almost nearing sexual satisfaction from all of the excitement. Smiling with excited anticipation she finally said, "I think this is all dear, let's go to the cashier." I could hardly contain myself when I blurted out, "No honey, I don't feel like it." Her face just went completely blank as her jaw dropped with a baffled "WHAT???!!!" I then said, "Really honey! I just want you to HOLD this stuff for a while. You're just not in touch with my financial needs as a man enough for me to satisfy your shopping needs as a woman." And just when she had this look like she was going to kill me, I added, "Why can't you just love me for who I am and not for the things I buy you?" Apparently I won't be having sex tonight either.

Did that, it made it worse. I'm thinkin I better check my fuel supply to the carb. It acts like you are turning the kill switch on and off, but only does after you have been wide open for awhile.

I just put on a set of Rockets (Thanks John19). I have stock bore and porting, just the rockets, noss head w/ 21cc domes, and stock airbox w/o lid and the trinity 2-1 carb. I put in a 220 main and did a plug chop. The plug looks right and it runs great but if I run wide open in 5th or 6th for about 10 seconds it start to surge. Feels to me like it is sucking the carb bowl dry. Anybody have this happen? I had same setup with pt mids, and never had any problems, but I'm sure I'm moving twice the air. I plan to go back to 2 carbs, but I'd like to get it running right now, and then put on the 2 carbs and see what kind of difference it makes. Thanks

I don't know about the banshee stuff, but his 250r stuff screams. I have a couple of friends with his 310 and 330 kits and those bikes haul.

Is that going to be at the heelclicker??? If so, we'll have to walk down the hill and check it out. I didn't know if they had that fixed yet.

I agree with the replacing of the studs instead of getting new hubs, but other than that I think you are an idiot. If the holes in the wheel are oval then replace the wheel. If you use an impact on my wheel nuts I will kick yours.

Glad to hear it. Right now I don't know where I'll be in 2 weeks. We sell directly to Boeing and they completely shut us down. Flat out said we do not want any parts delivered until this is over.

I think we are in 19 but I'm not sure.
