I have a snap-on and a mac guage, both read within 5 psi of each other. Held the throttle wide open and kicked like a mofo. Had 120 with the stock head. The best premium here is 91, you quys think I should be around 100 mixing the pump and premium or higher. I think I can buy 104 here, not worth mixing is it.

Hey guys, just put on a noss head with 21 cc domes and a timing plate. elevation is about 1500ft. Have 170lbs compression and planning on 6 degree advance, what octane you think i need to run. Other than the head and timing plate motor is all stock with pt mids and trinity 2-1 carb w/35mm pwk. what's the first sign of not enough octane also. Later thanks

i would check at racetracks or performance parts stores. i get mine from the local circle track, it's usually cheaper than anybody else in town. -

Have a brand new pro design foam filter and pro flow adapter for stock air box, never mounted. looking for k&n clamp on's with outerwears with flange I.D. of 1.938 in (49 mm) to fit pwk 28mm carbs.

get rid of that stock air filter before you do anything. get a proflow adapter if you want to keep the airbox or get clamp on filters. i prefer to keep the airbox because i get into mud and water sometimes.

you can but they are all reserved for snakehunt weekend. we reserved ours about 3 months ago and at that time there were not very many left.
