    tires

    chapparal 58 per tire http://www.chaparral-racing.com/Chaparral/...99EF98A1DD56C16
  2. the upp boots have numbers on them and they have an offset to help clear the left side, but it will still prolly hit. You have to tilt the left carb
  3. start in first gear, hold your revs at the right point (takes trial and error), when they say go gradually let the clutch out and add throttle. practice, practice. you cant just rev it up and dump it on the street unless you have a street drag setup. sit up as far forward as you can and the more gas you can give. if you get frustrated go to the side of the road and grab some of that small peat gravel and put it in your starting area, that way you can scoot back a little and rev and dump like normal and you will spin out of the hole.
  4. LOL!! oh man, this is getting out of hand.
  5. Do the 300ex shocks bolt right up, or is there modification that needs to be done?
  6. get the yamaha, its better than the honda
  7. if you have $150 burning a hole in your pocket get this, http://www.thefirestore.com/store/category.cfm?cID=1599 I got mine from work and I love it. It has a laser pointer and you can see which cylinder is running hotter than the other. Plus you can see how hot your pipes get.
  8. im gonna say that if its over heating there is prolly a problem somewhere. You should be able to ride for a long time without overheating. Now, that doesnt mean leave it sit idle for 25mins on a hot day. The banshee does not have a fan so you have to keep it moving to keep air flowing. I have rode from one place to the next that was 10 miles away, through the woods in NC, in the middle of summer without overheating
  9. I have both bikes and I am going to the dyno within the next few weeks. I will take both bikes with me and get the torque curves and post them. Torque is what you guys feel when something has a lot of low end. Even if Im wrong I will still post them.
  10. get the 68mm bore with 58mm stroke, keep the factory port job and it will have more than enough low end for trail riding.
  11. my 421 cheetah has a ton of low end, way more than a yfz, I can make a video to prove it. there is no replacement for displacement. tell me what you would like me to do in the video to demonstrate low end.
  12. do you know what your mph was?
  13. Im in Akron too and I could check it out if someone wants me too. let me know
  14. check here, this guy is good to deal with and ships quick. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...ssPageName=WDVW
  15. I had to cut mine and Im pretty sure there was someone else on here who got some recently, i think his name is 05bansh and I think he had to trim his too. Its no big deal, I just ended up cutting my whole front fender off. read this post. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...topic=38108&hl=
  16. ah yes the good ol GN, yeah I forgot to mention that if your car is older than 1996 when OBD-2 started, the computers were not that sophisticated. On 1996 and newer if the computer senses a bad reading from any sensor at any time it will ignore it and run off pre-programmed fuel / timing maps until the code is reset.
  17. if you are just strictly dirt dragging then get pro wedge 2 or maxis 4-snow. if this is a play / drag bike then go with the klaws as mentioned.
  18. I know that Alba is usually really high priced, but they have 34pj's at a good price. $259 http://alba.buyol.com/Item/016%2D039.htm
  19. yeah, use krylon fusion and make sure the plastics are clean before you spray them. I just painted mine black and gray and it came out good. the can says no sanding is needed but I sanded mine with 400 grit just to be sure.
  20. yes porting is worth it, a stock banshee has around 36 whp's a mild port job will get you into the 50's easy and if you get the same port job that H250RHATER has from passion racing you can get 72hp on stock stroke, just by bolting on some ported cylinders with a so called hot mx port
