has anyone ever had a cylinder welded with any luck? i ran into a little problem, i was tearing my banshee down getting ready to PC it today, when i went to remove the radiator hose at the motor and squised it, to my surprise coolant came shooting out the side of the cylinder, dont ask me what my coolant ratio was you dont want to know!! anyway , its only a small crack but it starts at the top and goes down an inch , just wondering if any one ever had one welded.

actually a vein color is easly made, first you must under stand how powdercoat works. its NOT like paint. think of tiny tiny tiny particles as small as a needles head. now this is the powder, all these tiny particles. now when you mix to colors, they WILL NOT blend, but they will cause a vein effect. im not saying this is the exact way the vein colors are made, but if i was to mix red and black and spray it and bake it all at once, it would give you a sort of vein effect. Now i have only really came up with on cool color by mixing them, actually a buddy of mine did it, he was doing some parts in chrome smoke, when he got done he emptied what was left of the chrome smoke into the gloss black by accident, came out with a really cool color though, i call it woodys black. but any way if you would like me to go more in depth let me know, or PM me, i can give you a kindof understanding how the powder actually works. i dont have time to write everything here.

hops i dont know of any websites for the real cool colors for you but i have red vien, its like silver vein but red. i can get it and if you have a near by powdercoater who cant get it i can sell you just the powder, if you would like.

you know she said something about modifying them too so they fit better, but i didnt know that they didnt fit well to begin with so i was like ok what ever. im sure making them fit will be no problem

na they arent coming with those graphics but im sure they will be cool if they did!

they just said that they are going to be like a coors light can and much shinier than the old silver ones, they will be here tuesday, i cant wait. hopefully i will get my bike torn down tommorrow night and get the frame powder coated saturday if everything goes right.

Man , i cant wait. i ordered some full bores about a week and a half ago and they finally have them on the way. i was a little concerned when i started looking for them because everyone told me that FULLBORE was redoing the silver color and they couldnt get that color for a couple months. well i called fullbore directly and the woman i spoke with told me that it was my lucky day. she said that they are infact redoing the silver color and that their products to build the plastic would be in the next day and on the good side i would be the very first person to get the new silver color that they are coming out with. she said it going to look like a coors light can(real shiny!!!!). just thought i would share

are you talking about the actual size of the bolt and nut, or are you refering to is there any bolt or nut that takes a 30mm socket or wrench to get off?

i think you leave them apart cause when you make the switch it grounds the ignition to kill the spark, could be wrong though, i think you can just unplug it though

i read you first post and i think i know what your problem is, you rebuilt the engine put it all in and it ran fine right? then friday you decided to change the brakes on your ole truck, THAT my friend i bet is your problem, the shee got upset cause you didnt change his. you should go buy a fresh new set of brake pads for it and it will be fine.
