i dont see any advantage over what you want to do , but go for it, when you install a zerk fitting and grease the carrier its going to go in the bearings, it has no where else to go, i read your post , you make no sense

i dont think that is a new mod, i have done it on an old banshee i had years ago and i see people do it all the time. i have even put them on the ball joints of the a arms. good luck though

any one got a clutch lever assembly, the one that goes into the cases,. the rod that runs through the cases to push the clutch pressure plate got all messed up and F'ed this up, and i need one

the best metal polish i have ever use was called EXTREME metal polish. it comes in a black plastic can and is in a little baggy and is a pink saturated material. the reason i bought it was i had some truck rims that were damaged by the soap at a car was, it turned the aluminum brown! anyways i tried everything, mothers, never dull, all kinds of polishes and nothing worked. i was at a car show one day and since they were boyd rims and boyd was there i asked the guy what i could do to bring them back. he pulled out this stuff and reached into his cooler and pulled out a coca cola can, in about 3 minutes he polished the can and it looked like it was chromed! it even took the paint off the can! anyways i used it ever since. its some good shit! long story short find some EXTREME!!!!!

i dont think you need the packing, its just for sound, yes you would have less pressure on the pipes, but most pipes are designed that the shape of the expansion champer creates the back pressure to help with the performance. drag pipes dont have the packing. anyways the silencers wouldnt play into effect of the back pressure all that much. when the exhaust comes out into the expansion chamber and reaches where the chamber starts to get smaller (right before the stinger) thats where the sound waves are reflected forcing the unused fuel air mixture that has tried to escape the exhaust port back into the motor. try it with out and see

Well thanks to Screamin banshee My shee will be getting a new face lift real soon, so the question is who got the best deal on their full bore plastic? i would go back with the stock plastic but hell you spend just as much for it as you do your the full bore if you buy it from the dealer. i know i could get maier cheap , but i dont like the way they have the fronts cut.

depends on your motor , unless you have ALOT of power i dont think you are going to want to go with a 16 front if you do hill climbs and such. that will raise you gear ration to like 2.563, thats not that high but its higher than the stock 2.929. but then i am assuming that you are running a 41 rear sprocket. and you know what they say about assuming
