  1. I run Wilburn ignitions on both of my asphalt Banshee's plus I own 4 or 5 extra boxes, flywheels, coils etc that I've picked up over the years but on anything other than a full blown drag setup I'd never consider anything besides OEM.

  2. No. These things are dying out. No one wants to put anymore development into them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  3. Parking brake rev limiter and TORS are 2 separate systems, ALL Banshee came with TORS and only 97 up had the brake rev limiter. The TORS is a go/no go system. Anyway just a FYI.

  4. Then maybe the parking brake thing was just coincidence. Maybe the reason its running so nice now is that I did have a bad leak at the reed valves, since that is the big thing that I worked on today. I also got the cabs synced finally as well.

  5. Are you talking about the TORS boxes? If so, those are gone.

  6. The TORS was already gone when I got the bike. I didnt see any wires coming out of the throttle, but can recheck that. I am assuming the parking brake switch is still there.

  7. Actually, the T.O.R.S. has been removed. So I need to pull the tank and unplug the switch?

  8. Thread is 10 years old. But in case somebody else wanted more info. My Banshee is stock bore stock crank, T5 exhaust, shaved flywheel, 19cc coolhead domes. 93 octane. Power band hits at 5500 and starts to drop off at 11,000 I can run 13,000 but you start to really notice the power loss. Also! Once engine temps get over 150. You will notice decreased performance. And anything over 200 it's a real dog.

  9. the yfz 450's rev higher than the yfz 350's. some 450 rev box's have a rpm limit of 11,700rpm. but only 2 strokes sound good up in the revs
