I have pump domes in it but I have a set of race to switch to. I run 110 in my little 70 and my 250r so, I’ll definitely try them out at some point. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Awesome, I’ve seen you’re quite the advocate for them. I have just got the same set up you had but the H.P. I’m excited to try it out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
yeah, today actually.
Turns out the crankcase was full of fuel and therefore (im guessing) was causing an excessively rich scenario.
Solution:
I pulled both plugs, tied the bike behind my friends truck and slowly (<3mph) pulled myself about 250~ meters in first gear.
It hurts my soul to do sh*t like that; but I discovered that the engine would belch out fuel every time i would kick it over without plugs. However, I couldnt kick it fast enough to make any real progress.
I got the bike running and idling well enough (still hard starting). Im thinking there is still a fuel build up somewhere...probably in the resonators. Im experiencing a whisp; like a half assed backfire? Im going to let it idle up to operating temp with a fan on it to try and dry things out inside.
Ill post what I did and my results later in the week....
On a side note, I really appreciate the community here taking the time to offer up solutions. expecially to a newbie banshee owner!
The very easiest way to do this seems to be...
Find ATV frame builder, take or send him frame and motor. Tell him your time line, add 6 months to that, lose interest over this period, pay for said bike, ride once, sell.
