ClimbAnyHill Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 Any BHQ's from the Los Angeles County area. If so what city & where do you ride? Quote
Wallrat Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 Huntington or Redondo Beach here. Live in HB, work in RB. Ride 95% Glamis, 5% Stoddard Wells, El Mirage, Johnson Valley, SCV, Dumont, & Pismo. Quote
ClimbAnyHill Posted December 31, 2006 Author Report Posted December 31, 2006 Cool where's Stoddard Wells & SCV? Quote
Handyman Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 Not in your area but I'm about 2 hours north of you....just out side fresno on the other side of the grapevine....Go to San Diego all the time to see my brother. Quote
GEEZR Posted January 1, 2007 Report Posted January 1, 2007 60% Glamis, 30% Dumont, 10% ElMirage. I live in SCV. Quote
FireHead Posted January 1, 2007 Report Posted January 1, 2007 I live in Irvine and ride at Glamis, El Mirage, Pismo, ow where ever some one will take since I haven't been here very long. Quote
feedmelies Posted January 1, 2007 Report Posted January 1, 2007 (edited) Orange County here. Just a little further south from you. Costa Mesa, to be specific. I am actually like five minutes away from Wallrat and FireHead. By the way, I just rode at Stoddard Wells (well, technically the exit just past it) and it was badass until my tranny blew (see thread in Repairs and Mods). Edited January 1, 2007 by feedmelies Quote
Wallrat Posted January 1, 2007 Report Posted January 1, 2007 Stoddard is out the 15 just passed Victorville. SCV or Santa Clarita Valley is up the 5 near Magic Mountain (just over the hill from the 14). I grew up in SCV so know where all the semi-hidden riding areas are. Loads of legal riding up there if you know where to look. Quote
ClimbAnyHill Posted January 1, 2007 Author Report Posted January 1, 2007 I didn't figure it out, I live in SCV too.. around Central Park area. Texas Cyn, Gorman.. the local spots!! Quote
Wallrat Posted January 1, 2007 Report Posted January 1, 2007 Never been to Gormon actually. Texas is connected to all the other spots out there (eventually). Drinkwater, Warm Springs, Ruby Canyon, Sawtooth, Burnt Peak. And of course good ol' Del Sur - that thing has ruts that'll swallow a quad no problem! Quote
Animalman294 Posted January 2, 2007 Report Posted January 2, 2007 Yeah, I wish I was that close to Glamis or Dumont. I used to live in Newport Beach off of Irvine Ave, before that in Huntington Beach off of Garfield and Long Beach off of Park Ave. Then moved up north above Sacramento............ Quote
