junkyarddawg, devcon is good but expensive ($50 for the smallest quantity) and takes a week or so to get. if the unused portion isn't sealed very well then it goes to waste. moroso is fine but $35 and its doubtful youll find it around town unless you have a automotive speed shop. go to ace hardware and get jb weld steel stik putty. about $8 and put the remainder in double Ziploc bags

He's not really being a nutswinger, I'll put my stock cylinders up against anyone including you . There's not many people squeezing power like I am with ridability . As for the op that's the stuff I use marine Tek all the time , as with everything prep is where it makes ands breaks a project . Pm if you need anything

Why not weld it up deck cylinder back down and never worry best choice. Epoxy will be so thin it will be easy to chip off or scrape when cleaning gaskets.

It's between both cylinders so put good cyl on first put a small bead of 1211 between cylinders and install damaged cyl. It will never blow since they are right next to each other.
