Decided I needed to buy my first Banshee back in November so i found a stock 2006 SE a few hours from home. Picked it up about 4 weeks ago and its been eat-sleep-banshee since. Prepping for a week long trip out to Glamis February 27th so im scrambling to get the bike freshened up with a few performance parts. Heres my progress so far, will ad pics as i go.

2006 SE Banshee; came with some kind of billet case saver, billet impeller and rebuilt water pump, new clutch and springs, E brake block off plates, fresh new Yamaha kicker, new OEM kill switch assembly, new axle bearing carrier, aftermarket wheels and tires, ASV brake and clutch levers.

So far I have purchased Elka stage 3's, Alba +2+1 long travel arms, extended brake lines, billet anodized brake line clamps, SLP pipes from JDS Customs, Skat Trak Mohawks on wheels, Skat Trak Extreme 8 paddles in a 20x11x10 size mounted on a set of 10x10 ITP wheels, Fasst Flexx bars, Moose Easy-Pull clutch device, and YFZ450 brake master cylinder and dual piston front brake calipers.

I have a list of parts being ordered from Vito's including; Vito's stealth head (stock head milled for domes), 21cc domes, TORS delete kit, timing plate, Vforce4 reeds, and a billet air box adapter plate plus a Uni foam filter.

Crank is at Precision Power Sports being welded as of last Monday. Ordering up new gaskets/seals/piston rings this week. Also on my shopping list is a carb sync tool for $40 shipped on amazon.com and an LED light bar (designing my own mounting for stock location). Bunch of other stuff im forgetting but thats the majority of my plans and progress so far 4e864fda3d6da09b82006fcafd303866.jpg37a19f3df97af7e251919aa1a9c5a31d.jpgcb0ed7aacbc15235885455c19df7042c.jpg447b2020aff775ae49dad1595fd92f0a.jpg

thanks man! I spent 2 hours SCRUBBING THE SHIT out of this thing last saturday trying to get all the grease and dirt that was on this thing. The previous owner had been mudding it so it was filthy. Im pulling all the nuts and bolts to grease and clean this bitch down to the frame.

Christmas day progress right here

Here's the led light bar in m trying to duplicate. Can't find shit for info about it but I speculate the bar is 14" wide and single row led. Going to grab one on eBay for $50 and see what I can do to make my own similar to this one. It's clean and even though the single row set ups I see on eBay are rated at 2000 lumens I imagine they're still a step up from stock lights.

Progress from this weekend. Spent 8 hrs scrubbing the dirt and grease off the bike, stripping parts to sell and making room for new parts. 5ae1a32d9dd266d91437a6421741629c.jpg2dda73c7d061ab3f38dde0dd61057293.jpg

My sweet ball joint removal tool. Place between the ball joint castle nuts and crank that bitch out until things pop loose.

Waiting on PPS to let me know my cranks trued and welded so I can start putting the motor back together.

That's where I'm at for now, updates as I get new parts and get more shit done. Fuckin stoked to ride this thing! I have about 15 minutes total seat time on a banshee ever so I'm excited to get this lightly modified and freshened up out on the sand

I remember the first time I rode my banshee at a kfc parking lot I couldn't stop smiling, first real ride 15 minutes in it blew up.( not my fault previous owner didn't have a clue ). Since its been rebuilt every time I ride an get in that power band it's a adrenaline rush an I have quite a bit of riding time on my banshee now. I know how pumped you must be to ride your banshee I know that feeling.
