  2. No Problem my issues with Alba etc are just built to a lower standard Like look behind their heelguard the main pipes bend ends in the middle of nowhere doesn't end nice and clean on the subframe tab to add a little of reinforcement. Same with no Tube under the expansion chambers to join the two front sections of the bars together. You are adding a lot more pressure on the footpeg mounts of the frame. XFR doesn't have this issue because they spent a little more designing the bars to work with the mounting points of the frame but your heel guards are now closer on the XFR's to the kick starter and you will need to change your style of kicking to just using your heel especially if you are wearing boots or you wont be able to kick it over. If you want no issues, the best fitment out of the box and most durable bars for the banshee there isn't really a better option than the 43's.

  4. The extended ears for the caliper mount on the spindle and the lack of countersink on the hub for the rotor bolts tells me you for sure have the early stuff.
  5. Never had the lid on with 30’s. And I ride some dusty/muddy trails. I tried running without the lid but my air filter was covered in dust after 1 ride so I wanna keep that to a minimum
  6. Hi i need some advice, I took off my exhaust to polish them and decided to have a look at the pistons and noticed that on the one piston. Do you guys have any advice if it’s safe or not or is it time to replace them. I feel very skeptical about it but I’m not a mechanic. IMG_3844.mov
  7. When you had the 30 pilots in did you ever try it with the air box lid on ? What type of riding conditions are you riding in that requires the air box lid ?
  8. The picture of the J-arm spindle / knuckle that you posted “ IS “ for the model year 87-89 which requires part # 1UY-23501-01-00 Left Side & 1UY-23502-01-00 Right Side. Then for the A-arm spindle / knuckle for the model year 90-06 which requires part # 3GD-23501-10-00 Left Side & 3GD-23502-10-00 Right Side. Here is a picture of what the spindle / knuckle looks like for the 90-06 Banshee. The picture that I posted is from a 1997 Banshee that Im currently working on for a friend. If you look the picture that you posted and compare it to the picture that I posted you can definitely see the difference between the spindles. I also circled the caliper bracket bolts in my picture to show how the spacing is different from the 87-89 Banshee in your photo and the 90-06 Banshee that is in the photo that I posted. 9. I have 2003 Triple Ported Athena Cylinders, Stock bore, Stock Head no domes, Ethanol free Gas 32:1, Full Toomey 5’s, Stock Carbs with Toomey Needles, stock intake, stock reeds. Stock airfilter and airbox. I want to use the lid but NO snorkel. I do NOT want to drill holes in my airbox. My elevation is 1000ft and temp is 70+ degrees on average lately. Right now I’m running 270 Main, 27.5 pilot 1.5 turns out, 4th clip on Toomey Needle(6 slots). When I ride it now it feels like it stops pulling towards the top end almost like a flat spot 3/4 to WO throttle. When I had 30 pilots in here with no airbox lid this thing would wheelie in every gear but where I ride I need an airbox lid. What do you guys think on my jetting?
  10. Can anyone verify if I have the 87-89 spindles? I would hate to buy the 87-89 brake calipers just to find out later that the spindle has been changed to the 90-06 style.

  12. Im just here to say hi to jerrod. Just to find out its only 250 ...not bigred350X I think 89 stuff was only the same a few years tho &OG's right ...wc or redo are good choices
  13. @Fearnot Thank you for the info about the Factory 43 nerf bars. I’ll have to look into them. I haven’t bought anything yet.
  14. Check with either one of them. They may have what you are looking for. https://westcoastatvparts.com/ https://redo-parts.com/
  15. I bought an 89 J-arm Banshee and it is missing the entire front brake system. Will the A-arm 91-06 Brake calipers work? Picture of hub and spindle below. Thanks https://ibb.co/93d89G4
  16. Factory 43 and nothing really comes close besides older AC Racing units. If you are looking for the best no budget the 43's and thats coming from someone with XFR's
