A carrier.

I would also like a -2 havoc right now too, but i want 4 pinch bolts for the carrier which they don't have.

They do look strong everywhere else though.

Does anyone know if havocs have skid plate tabs?

there is no benifit of 4 bolts. one of thwo things will occur with 4 bolts. you will get one on each side tighter then the other so in actuallyity only one if pinched down holding the carrier. or dependig on how the swinger s biult the metal can get bent slightly inwards and make the carrier harder to slide out. Two bolts with locknuts is more then enough

No way, the 4 pinch bolt and the closed up carrier swingers look way stronger IMO and if one bolt decides to back out then there is atleast 3 more holding the carrier in especially when riding rocky bumpy trails. In teh sand with no rattling and jolting bumps 2 would be ok i bet but i want 4, thats why ive decided on getting an -2 Avenger swinger with 3/4 skid tabs on Tuesday.

Take a look at that and tell me that wouldn't be a TON stronger and way beefier and hold it in place better if one bolt backs out even with lock tight!

But whatever floats your boat. and the avenger does for me.

I've never had a problem with 2 pinch bolts.. but to ea. their own I guess.. Its kinda like buying over priced insurance... you think your getting better quality insurance.. but in the end... all the coverage is the same.. lol

If money isn't a option and your looking to spend 1k on a swinger.. why not Lonestar?

If your looking for a strong swinger.. look for gusseting around the shock mount.. thats the high stress part of the swinger. It don't take alot of torq to keep that carrier from spinning. Take a look at the Lonestar swinger and look how they gusset around that shock mount compared to that avenger.

They are available in a -2 and with skid plate mounts. I didn't see on their site where carriers only fit them.. a round carrier is a round carrier..

831.00 for a -2 comes complete with carrier and brake plate.
