I used to go to little sahara all the time without paddles and still had fun..just gotta watch where you ride a little more. Also depends what kinda tires you have on.

Get the Z06, they actually get off the line and hook up a lot better than camaros/transams do.

Sounds like a decent deal. I wouldnt want that to be my only vehicle but thats just me. I had a LT1 car for a while, they run good but were kinda a pain in the ass to work on, half the engines under the windshield.

I painted some of my stock gold wheels black a while ago. Mine lasted for a little bit but they started chipping and flaking a little now. I didnt do near as much prep work as you though so yours will probably hold up better.

Got some paddle tires off him today. Tires are in awesome shape and he got them shipped fast.

Nowadays almost all domestics are as good as imports, believe it or not. Chrysler has been known not to have the greatest auto trannys. Name all the imports you want but it doesnt prove much, im not even going to start listing the domestics I know of that are over 200k miles :biggrin:

All i know is you dont know what your talking about. I worked in a auto shop for a few years and you come to realize every auto manufacturer makes pretty good cars these days and one is not really more reliable than the other, its all about how you take care of the vehicle. Import owners love to spout off how domestics are POS's but they really have no clue. We had a lot of fleet vehicles come in everyday which were all american, lets just say that 200k miles would be a very low mileage one and they all had the original drivetrains in them. We had diesels in all the time with way over 300k on them. Drive your import truck and have fun but dont come in here calling american trucks junk.
