Bancheez Posted August 5, 2008 Report Share Posted August 5, 2008 Just thought I would throw this in here... In regards to the 2 pinch bolts compared to the 4 pinch bolts on a round housing carrier. I am running a ACE Fabrication swinger that has 4 pinch bolts. My experience has been that unless you over tighten all 4 bolts, 2 (1 on each side) come loose and fall out. After replacing 4, 3/8 fine thread stainless bolts due to them coming loose and falling out, I hacked off all 4 mounts and had 1 mount welded in the center of each side and have had absolutely no issues since. you definately do not need 4 pinch bolts on any swinger. it doesn't take much pressure at all to keep the carrier in place.
