Colby Posted July 11, 2008 Report Posted July 11, 2008 how are you guys sealing your out of frame drag pipes? I cannot get these small bore shearers to stop spewing oil all over the cylinders and frame. Quote
Bansh-eman Posted July 12, 2008 Report Posted July 12, 2008 I dont even bother with orings any more, i use hi temp RTV and put a nice bead inside the pipe where the oring sits and another on the exhaust flanges near the ends of them. let both dry and put the pipes on. Quote
spurdy Posted July 12, 2008 Report Posted July 12, 2008 ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I use hi temp RTV also, but I put mine together wet and use my finger around the exhaust flange/pipe mating surface to clean it up. No issue to date! SP Quote
