well despite all my posts im gonna send my engine to kevin Herr and get him to do a 4mm ported stock cylinders with a cool head, so i cant decivde if i should stick with stock ported cyl or get a stock cub, any suggestions? i only have about 1600-1800 to play with,

i mainly ride like open trails or fields usually just open areas and im using toomey t5s with stock carbs for now

I would go stock cylinder 4 mill. When you step up to a cub you really should go with PWK35's, and a set of inframe drag pipes because the cub is a drag port out of the box.

X2. When you go cub, you need to upgrade the clutch, longer swinger, tranny mods, etc. too many people spend money getting HP out of the motor, but it's pointless without getting it to the ground or not being able to use it.

Get a dune port...you'll be happier.

no offense utley but i would just have kev do you a motor jerod and go with a dune port.they are very dependable and you will have everything fresh.for the type of riding you do it would fit you best.plus to sell you stock cylinders your not going to get hardly anything for them.for the clutch i would run one of jeff's clutch's from F.A.S.T.and you can have your shifter star turned down.you could save some money and do that yourself.the stock carbs would work fine but could gain a couple more hp with some bigger ones.you will be very happy!
