35 pwk air striker throttle cable?

i am running 35 pwk air strikers with stock thumb throttle, i purchased braided cable from cacscade that is supposed to work up to 35mm, but when i took it to get a dyno done, we can not adjust the cable enough to fully open throttle. lacks about 1/4in of fully opening, does anybody know where i can get a cable that will fully open them, or is this just the design of the air striker.

i hade the same issue with some 34PJ's turno out i needed to adjust the cable on the thump ALL THE WAY in first then sync the carbs. is fine now. so turn everything all the way in first then sync the carbs

You need to get a pair of taller carb top adjuster so you can adjust more slack out of the cable. I would get the ez pull springs and metal Idle screws while your at it.
