We had this same delema when BigRed350x was going to sell How-To DVD's here. Its nothing personal bro, but you just can't sell your DVD's in the parking lot of a music store, ya know what I mean ?? Its just bad form. Atleast join up as a Premium Member. Don't take this personally, and Im sure the DVD is cool and all, but no sticky sticky IMO. Besides, if you sell enough DVD's, no one is going to need Dajogers help anymore I don't take it personally no worries. I actually am going to pay to become a premium member I've just been lazy about it, I still have all intentions to do so though. Aside from that, I know that this information is all over the place but that is exactly why I made the video... so it's NOT all over the place. It's in ONE place. AND to top it off it's being done in "real time" on video for those people who are visual learners and get confused with the 10 different techniques that they get in paragraph form on the forum. Don't get me wrong I absolutely love this forum and spend almost every day on it. It has been invaluable and will continue to be but I figured I would spend the time and energy to create something that might really help a lot of people out and apparently it has already. I put 3 months of build time and about 3 months of video editing into it, not even sure how many hours it came out to be but I would imagine well over 100. I'm not just flat out trying to make money on this deal, as a matter of fact I'm really not making much when you add up, shipping, packing envelope, printer ink, printable DVD's, jewel cases and printable inserts, and the gas to and from the post office just for even 1 disc here and 1 disc there. I'm just providing a helping hand at this point and covering some costs. If someone wants to donate for a disc I'll send them one, if not then the HQ will still provide a huge wealth of info. BigRed's posts helped me a lot, but was still confused about some things that I had to spend days trying to search. To a degree(VERY SMALL ONE) I can see what your saying about the premium membership thing but even at that.. How many guys are there in the for sale forum sellin mad shit and are not pre members? They are making WAY more money and in some cases some of those members don't contribute to the site at all.. Tate on the otherhand has been a helpfull and contributing member for quite sometime... On top of all of it is he even asking a price? I thought it was kind of a donations set-up? Which IMO is a hell of allot nicer than he should be.. Dude seriously, that idea of why pay for something you can research for free on-line can be said for just about everything.. The guy has produced a valuable tool and made is available to HQ.. Sure it may not bennifit a billy badass banshee builder like yourself but there are allot of guys on here trying to "catch up" and where the clymer maybe confusing, this allows people to SEE what they need to do.. I hadn't even really thought of the point that Tate and Hyper made thats its even more valuable considering HOW MUCH it covers and in one source.. He even has how he PC's and mods the shift shaft.. Last time I checked the clymers didn't have that.. I didn't see you jumping Wes when he had his how to sync carbs stickied... To be honest I guess the thing that gets me the most is why does it bother you? As I said before its not like he is asking for a free banner.. To be honest I think what Tate is offering is a contribution to the site in itself... A newer guy gets this vid and may not need to ask all the questions that upset some of the HQ "elders"... I have personaly seen this vid and its great.. Is it for someone that has done it a million times? Maybe not.. Now I'm out of discs, jewels, inserts AND ink (the most expensive!!) so I need to run down and stock back up on all that stuff so I can get more discs made.
