VP Methanol anyone?

Bought a drum of vp methanol with top end lube 2 yrs ago and only used around 10 gallons before I sold the bike running it. It has since been in sealed up in storage off the floor. I need to get it gone before if goes bad. Any offers considered. Must be picked up in Burlington,kS 60 miles straight south of Topeka. Thanks

I don't know how long it good for. I'll be probably be selling cheap, would be awesome for someone that is making there own biodiesel.

I beleive that VP says in a sealed drum shelf life is approx a year. I could be wrong..................

if it was sitting directly on concrete. i would not use it in a drag bike. over 2 years the water content would be high. use it for weed killer.

I've read it has a shelf life anywhere from 3 months to a year. Depends on where you keep it and how humid it is. Having gone through kansas not too long ago, the humidity in your area would scare me leaving meth sit for that long. We burn 55gal in a good couple days at the dunes. Sounds like you need to ride more! :biggrin:
