I'm running this ignition and the only way I could get it to work correctly was to run a battery, since I was using the rz350 stator assembly is wasn't a big deal. Email questions to g.stice@mchsi.com and hopefully I can help you out.

Banshee cdi won't work... The cdi is usually the most expensive part of the swap. I got tired of my powervalve controllers crapping out and went with the zeel unit. I know that you said you weren't going to use it but it awesome compared to the yamaha crap. If you want a cheap power valve motor like 20 bucks or cheaper, pretty much any exhaust servo motor off yamaha bikes will work if you change the connector, ex. r1, r6 , & some others. Just remember that pretty much any year cdi will work with any year stator, you just have to flip a couple wire to make certain swaps. I might have an extra cdi laying around, I'll look for ya. Bought a drum of vp methanol with top end lube 2 yrs ago and only used around 10 gallons before I sold the bike running it. It has since been in sealed up in storage off the floor. I need to get it gone before if goes bad. Any offers considered. Must be picked up in Burlington,kS 60 miles straight south of Topeka. Thanks

Went and picked up by banshee pieces from the sherriff yesterday. Here is a link to what it used to look like, http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...topic=53347&hl= They pretty much stripped the whole thing to make it look like a different bike, plus spray painted everything white. I am very happy to get back what I got, but its probably going to take 2000 to 3000 dollars to put it back together. It had an built rz350 motor in it and thats how I ended up identifing it, due to the dumb assed didn't know what they really had. They did manage to blow the motor up, in the progress break the cylidner liner right above the exhaust port. So right now I am in the search to find a banshee liner which will work for the rz because I am going to have to pay my engine builder even more money to match the new sleeve to the port job he did 1 month before it was stolen. If anyone else knows where I can get a sleeve cheap let me know, I plan on putting before and after pictures in the images sections, and the 50+ parts is is going to take to put my bike back together in the wanted section. I just hope the guy that stole it gets what he has coming to him!!

In the final process of putting my rz shee together and just wondering how people with paul turner pipes went about routing their coolant lines. I have to go to the parts store and was wondering what the best way to do it and not have your lines touching the pipes. THanks rzbanshee

My engine builder wants me to order a set of domes for my rz350 coolhead that has a dome trapped volume of 18cc. When it says 18cc domes, is that just for the dome or does that take into consideration the area above the piston also. Just want to make sure of that before I order,the 18cc is for the dome only. Thanks

Just to let you know, you need to have the red and brown wires on the rectifier on the main switch other wise you won't have 12 volts to your powervalve controller or lights, if you look on the rz wiring diagram when you turn the main switch to on it connects the brown/red. It won't work the way you have it, I tried.

Ok my bike ran perfect w/the 2 into 1 35mm 195 mains. I had a crank bearing let go, and just bought another motor w/ dune port. Got everything together and motor just seemed to bog forever and then just takeoff and make some serious power. I am running fmf fattys so I should have some decent lowend with this setup. I just hate waiting a second or two before the engine wants to do anything, ok for drag racing but not for my mx setup. My plugs are showing that they are chocalate brown, just doesn't make since to me that I would jet down when this motor hauls ass compared to the stocker besides downlow. I have tried playing with the needle and tried it in all postions and doesn't make much difference. Has anyone tried changing out the needles? Just seems like I have all the topend I could ever want but with this setup I should have the lowend, about ready to just get rid of these jugs.

Ever since I robbed the rz electronics off my extra shee, I need another rz350 flywheel to get my second bike going again. I bought one off ebay but it ended being a banshee one which won't work with the rz stator. If anyone has one I am willing to pay good dollar via paypal or work out a trade w/cash for my extra banshee flywheel. Thanks rzbanshee

I tried a banshee flywheel with my rz electronic and didn't get any spark, so I don't think the two are interchangeable. rzshee

Well my spark wasn't too strong to start with. I am selling my other shee w/ the rzmotor in it and keeping all the rz stuff, so I can convert my rzmotor to my new shee w/ all the mx goodies on it once I have the motor peped up.

Hey what do you guys think of running the rz350 electronics with normal banshee jugs. My stock banshee cdi shot the craps and I had an extra rz350 flywheel,cdi, and stator so I hooked it up. I think it runs better than with the stock setup. Plus instead of only advancing the timing 22 degrees a it moves it up to like 26 degrees. I used to have to kick start it forever, now it starts on the 1st kick!!
