i have stock carbs, fmf pipes, stock reeds and bored 40 over. any help in jetting would be great. running br8es plugs at 24 to 1 mix.

i would start out by going to 32:1 or 36:1 on your mix thats for damn sure. being bored over doesnt really matter. jetting will always be the same if you .10 to .100 over from what iv heard. what current jets are on the bike? what kind of air filter are you running?

what oil are you running? i would run klotz at 40 or 50:1. its a good mix and burns out pretty clean.

as for jetting.. i would start with 280 main and 27.5 pilot. do a wide open throttle plug check to see how your mains are and then adjust accordingly..

dark = rich = go down on the main

tan = good = leave the mains alone

white = lean = go up on the main

im running with stock jets i believe. cant tell what the markings are. it has a k&n with outerwears pre filter in the stock air box. i also run mc1 oil. plugs are showing rich but that could be the rich oil mix also. bike runs great but was thinking i should jet accordingly. i dont know what elevation im at though. i ride in mid and upper michigan if that helps.

start out at a 300-280 main, stock needles, stock clip position, stock 25 pilots, 1-1/2 turns on the pilot screws. you may need to go up to 27.5 pilots, but mine is fine at stock pilots, so i would start there.

put in 290 mains, needles from the kit forgot what size and 30 for the pilots. seems to still run funny at 1/8 to 1/4 throttle. 1 and a half turns out on pilot screw. sound about right?
