Buying Sand Tires Online...

Any recommendations on which suppliers are good to deal with online for complete tire/wheel kits, as well as best prices, free shipping, etc...?

Also, I've haven't had a lot of sand tire experience and I'm considering the Skat Trak smoothie up front. Do you get very much steering control with it? I'm not doing the drags, just weekend dune stuff.

My thoughts for packages are:

1. 21-7-10 Skat Trak Smoothie up front and 20-10-10 Skat Trak Edge's on the rear

2. Complete set of ITPs in the above sizes.

Rocky mountain or John at sandtoyzunlimited. No need to look elsewhere. I never can beat those two when I look around. Dont get smoothies for duning get some mohawks. Smoothies wont turn worth a darn. They are for draggers trying to save the last 1 or 2 lbs of weight.

no real need for fronts imo. if you have a old set of fronts just shave them down. thats what i did. i have ran fronts for sand and front for dirt if you are just goiing a few times a year the fronts are not that big of a deal imo
