jonnyb Posted May 28, 2008 Report Posted May 28, 2008 Ok some have said to Jb weld it and stick an eraser in it first, curtisey of Lonstar Thanks Lonstar the only good idea yet. But here it is. And part of what came out of it(some sort of apoxy) Quote
sinisterboo Posted May 28, 2008 Report Posted May 28, 2008 measure the hole and get a grease zerk that will fit in it? just a shot in the dark.... Quote
sinisterboo Posted May 28, 2008 Report Posted May 28, 2008 they make some that thread in, and some that tap in with a little hammer. either way, it should keep you from having to split the cases, and you never know, you just might need that hole again someday........ but we hope not right? Quote
poorboy Posted May 28, 2008 Report Posted May 28, 2008 Well heres my 2 cents worth JB weald will work for this. I have used it to fix holes in my oil pan on my truck. The trick is CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN it wont stick if theres any oil anywhere that you want it to stick. The Grease zert will work as well if you have room to tap the hole. But i would go with the JB weld it has worked for me Quote
jonnyb Posted May 28, 2008 Author Report Posted May 28, 2008 Well thinking that JB weld will do the trick but I have to worry about the clutch shaft on the other side of the hole, thats why I was thinking of sticking an eraser in it first. Quote
gumby6t9 Posted May 28, 2008 Report Posted May 28, 2008 I say clean it really good and use some good RTV sealer and buy a TM designworks case saver... Quote
okbeast Posted May 28, 2008 Report Posted May 28, 2008 It's silicone. I still say jb weld. And if you read my post in ur 1st thread i told u how to do it w/o splitting the cases. Quote
jonnyb Posted May 28, 2008 Author Report Posted May 28, 2008 I got yah Beast, just trying to get a collective. Quote
okbeast Posted May 28, 2008 Report Posted May 28, 2008 I'm not sayin that's 100% gonna work either, just an idea. Of course the best way would be to split the cases. Quote
LS1Inferno Posted May 28, 2008 Report Posted May 28, 2008 Looks like it would be a good place to stick a long skinny punch if you ever mushroomed a clutch rod. but yeah just JB weld it WTH is it ther for anyhow. Quote

Snopczynski Posted May 28, 2008 Report Posted May 28, 2008 JB Weld or TIG weld the thing would be my vote. :geek: I second that, I wouldn't rig it. Quote
