jamebo
The powerband is the range of rpms when the motor is making and transferring the most power in the curve. A Banshee has a very narrow powerband and comes on all at once. You definitely know when it kicks in! Maybe someone else can explain it a little better than me. endofitall9
a powerband is usually assorted into colors with a bright red being the strongest upon putting this bright red powerband in your banshee motor and running it,one will see many different colors as he accelerates through the gears...brown and possibly yellow are the most typical, assuming you have eaten corn in the past week being the brown color you will see is from the outrageous shit you just took in your pants as you did hit that bright red powerband and the front will jerked off the ground and eyes got blurry...... hope this helps.... dajogejr
Actually... A powerband is the complete RPM range a motor can run, bottom to top. Banshees are famous for what's called a "Light Switch" powerband. In other words....wait...wait..wait....BAM. And it hits... Broad power band means power all over the RPM range, narrow would be the opposite. Peaky would mean it makes it's usable power in a short/small RPM range (think drag race bikes) There are several ways to describe a bike's actual powerband, but essentially...people use "XXXX" style/type powerband to say where there motor starts to pull in the RPM range...or when it starts to get on the pipe. A "colored powerband" is a long standing joke...
